"Lauren was a surprise last minute addition to a birthday party. She arrived well ahead of her scheduled time, was very well presented, was absolutely professional and just sang beautifully to the surprise of the birthday boy and all the guests. She has an amazingly beautiful voice. Her repertoire was tailored to the crowd and was exactly what I attempted to request of her for the night. Her equipment was brand new and was more than powerful to cover a hall of approximately 100 guests. She sang to a crowd who is usually difficult to please due to cultural differences but there was not one single complaint on the night. In fact, all the comments were positive and a number of guests have already made enquiries to hire her for their forthcoming event. I have no hesitation to recommend her. She will for sure add a touch of class to any event."

"What an amazing day we had and thanks so much for creating the best wedding reception party atmosphere ever with your great energy singing and DJ music. Everyone was hot on the dance floor the kids , adults all bopping to all the music. We can’t thank you enough for making our wedding reception so special and memorable. "Straight Up are an amazing band and their performance at our celebration was nothing short of sensational. They are an extremely versatile band that can pretty much perform anything! All of our guests were blown away by the quality of their performance and they made our special day even more special. "

"First time ive used Lastminutemusicians so happy i came across it online. Easy to use website, choose a musician by Area,Genre,Solo or Band & Budget. I chose Jack M a solo acoustic singer/guitarist. He managed a special request for me by learning to sing & play a song he hadnt done before at very short notice. Guests at the party wouldnt have known and thought he had been performing it for years it was perfect. In fact his whole set was perfect. Would love to see Jack M at one of his own gigs in the future. I will recommend lastminutemusicians & Jack M to anyone."

"We loved having Sarah perform here for our first 'Pride Night' since before Covid! She has a great voice and repertoire of songs to choose from, including the ability to request songs via Instagram message that works brilliantly! IF you're after someone to give a nice relaxed vibe whilst enjoying the moment then she's your gal! Certainly looking to book her in again soon!"

"This band is truly amazing - all fantastic musicians! They were playing at a wedding I went to and their music created the most fabulous atmosphere, they had absolutely everyone on the dance floor, from toddlers to Grannys! Not only are they brilliant musicians, they are also a lovely bunch of people who would be a joy to have around at any function. If you are wondering who to get to play at your event - I would recommend The Grooveline without hesitation. Thanks Guys for rolling back time!!"

"Lucy & I would like to say a massive thank you for completely rocking our wedding, you are even better than your promo video’s suggests. All of our guests absolutely loved you and have been raving about how much fun they had. From the lovely acoustic duo, to our awesome first limbo and your rocking disco set late into the night, you were so much fun and sounded great the whole time. Your voice is perfect and the band are awesome but the best thing about you is the atmosphere you create. Your obvious love for preforming completely rubbed off on everyone there. From the very first tune the dance floor was packed, even our parents bounced around all evening. I also have to comment on how professional you were in the lead up and on the day of the wedding. Absolutely zero hassle, we didn’t even know you had arrived until we heard you at the reception, we didn’t notice you sound check or leave, just great music for the whole day and evening. We couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely, definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a band. You are absolutely fantastic!!!! ​"

"The band were faultless, they set up quickly and quietly with no fuss. Played two sets with disco in between and afterwards. The songs were all current and excellently performed, filling the dance floor from the first dance to the last. I'd thoroughly recommend them; Brilliant."

"I booked 'It Takes Two' to play at my 60th Birthday party. What a fantastic show. Everything we asked for and more. Kelly and Graham are two exceptional performers and entertained my guests perfectly. The Country and Western themed party was a blast. What a great way to celebrate my day. The playlist rocked the party. Thank you so much both, simply fabulous. Thoroughly recommended. X"
