"These guys made our wedding! I don't normally bother to submit reviews but I know how hard it is to choose the perfect band for your wedding and having been so thrilled with what Ben and the rest of the guys did for us, I felt compelled to write. We had the duo doing background before speeches and then the quartet with sax, to kick off the party. It was simply perfect for the occasion and our 110 guests unanimously agreed that they loved the band! The guys added our choice of first dance to their playlist, which was superb. It bridged the generational gap at our wedding perfectly, we filled the dance floor with 6 to 86 year olds - no mean feat. After the last set, Ben stayed on to let us use his disco playlist on his laptop, which also worked fabulously well. My wife and I'm sure 110 of our guests wouldn't hesitate to recommend this band. A massive thank you, you were a real highlight and also all great guys :-)"

"Every bride and groom should look into booking the Ekoes! whether you want some gorgeous acoustic tunes or the party mood setting, Kristian and the band are so talented and professional. Communication is friendly, reliable and trustworthy which you really want when booking your all important suppliers. We adored the acoustic set Kris performed for our special day and his equipment was top quality too- no cringey mic feedback! give these guys a message they are brilliant!!!"

"Superb!! Set list was extensive with a wide range of songs. All excellently sang, brilliantly played by the band. I’d recommended seeing or using Midnight Sun for any event you may be planning. "

"Ardverikie Ceilidh Band played for our 40th birthday (70 adults + 20 kids). They were brilliant. The caller gave clear instructions and plenty of encouragement and was undaunted by the chaos of a squad of kids. The fiddle playing and guitar were excellent, and the musicians had the judgement to know when to give the crowd a rest and mix in instrumental sets and songs. In short, they put on a great Ceilidh, are absolute professionals and their version of the song “the Queen of Argyle” made my night."

"Mike, we cannot thank you enough for how brilliant you guys were at our wedding! Thank you so much for being so flexible when, given the extreme heat and no air con, our guests decamped to the gardens and you all postponed your sets to play later in the evening when everyone was back inside the venue! We really appreciated that! We had so many compliments on how fantastic you all were and many of my guests have asked for your details! Not surprising since the entire band was lively, entertaining and just brilliantly talented! I would also like to thank you for keeping me so calm and making the booking process/ play list selection etc so easy. You were contactable whenever I needed you (wonderful) and were so in control that it put me at ease instantly. Thank you again and we cannot wait for another excuse to throw a big bash and hire you all again! "

"Uptown Groove were brilliant, very fun and friendly, but well organised and professional too, they got set up with a minimum of fuss and their performance was a blast, one of the highlights of our special day. I would definitely recommend them."

"THANK YOU for playing at our wedding! We loved every bit and you did a wonderful job! So many people complimented you all and the music really added to the afternoon. You all sounded so good and lots of guests said how you made the day and we agree. Nat was great leading up to the wedding, went through all our song choices and got to know what we liked and didn't like, really friendly and professional. 100% recommend."

"The Last Cavaliers played at my 50th birthday party in my local village hall. The communication by email with the band before the event was always answered promptly and politely. The band arrived in plenty of time to set up before the party started, they were charming and friendly. 
The entertainment that The Last Cavaliers provided was exceptional, they were talented, and witty. At one point we requested an extra song and they were flexible and accommodating. They remembered names of people at the party and really engaged with the audience making us all feel involved and special. I would highly recommend The Last Cavaliers to anyone wanting this type of 'cover song' entertainment."

"Wow! The Groove Ambassadors are just exceptional in every way (including vocals, instrumentals and professionalism). The band played at our wedding recently and they went above and beyond to ensure the dance floor was constantly full, and fun, and that the guests were fully engaged. We had the three piece plan an acoustic set during cocktails/canapes and the eight piece during the evening reception. In both settings they really brought such presence and energy, setting the correct tone in each environment. I can honestly say that choosing The London Soul Band to play at our wedding was one of the best decisions we made and I take it as a great compliment that we already have guests enquiring about the band's details to play at their own events! Extremely grateful for everything the band did, both on the day, in communications leading up to the day and in follow-up conversations afterwards. 10/10 from start to finish - thank you, the best! :D"
