Before the night Rob spoke with us to tailer everything to what we love, and then when the evening came he was absolutely fantastic! "I booked Martin to play at a corporate awards dinner we held at the Park Plaza hotel in Leeds. I was impressed with the reviews I had read about Martin and also his extensive set list. Martin was great and was more than happy to move his equipment midway into the evening from the bar area where the drinks reception had taken place up to the main room where the dinner was being held. We had originally instructed Martin to play contemporary songs however it became apparent this style wasn't working during the drinks reception so Martin was more than happy to change the set list at the last minute to music that seemed better suited to the audience. Martin played some great songs and I would have no hesitation in recommending him for an event."

"Excellent! From start (initial contact and enquiry), to finish (performance), Modern Strings were a pleasure to work with. Sophie was very helpful and accomodating, she also offered a very competitive package, advising what would work in an honest way. She was always prompt with communications, and helped where she could. The team were punctual on the day, and played amazingly, guests loved it! Thanks to the team!"

Hearing my entrance piece played as I walked in church is one of the best parts of my day and one I will never forget, it was so beautiful and added such style and elegance to our wedding.
