"As a professional Wedding DJ, I had the pleasure of working with the Ekoes at Barff House. Their music was great and tailored to the audience and the bride and groom. The guests were dancing to every song, which allowed me to seamlessly introduce the other music genres, that were requested for the rest of the night. Ryan and I worked together on the itinerary to ensure the evening's music flowed without a hitch. Very well done lads, I look forward to working with you on a regular basis 👍 Ady"

"I hired Blue Jewel Ceilidh band to play for my 60th birthday party at my local village hall. I had never heard them play before but going on previous recommendations I felt certain they would be okay. How right I was! Well, if fact they were more than okay - they were bandtastic! Their playing is brilliant and they created a fantastic atmosphere. Steve made sure he brought me and my husband and sons right into the swing of things, mentioning us by name whenever he could and he certainly made it feel like "my" party and not just any old party they might be playing at. There was quite a mix of ages, but everyone joined in with the dancing, (yes, even my non-dancing- unless-he's-had-a-few-pints, husband!!). Steve and his colleague were excellent callers and made the dances very easy and great fun. We are still laughing and talking about what a wonderful evening it was. I have no hesitation in recommending Blue Jewel. They will make your party go with a swing! "

"We were delighted with Soulcentric performance at our wedding in May 2016. Cool, contemporary and very talented, the band were central to making the evening one big party, which is exactly what we wanted. The band were full of energy and appeared to be enjoying themselves as well, even performing a second encore completely off the cuff, as our demanding guests were loath to let them leave. One of our guests enjoyed it so much they were considering cancelling their own wedding band and booking Soulcentric instead. The band were very accommodating with requests, going out of their way to play a first dance song that isn’t part of their usual set list. The band were easily contactable ahead of the date to answer queries and were punctual and professional on the day itself. Our only regret is that we don’t have another event we can book them for. Highly highly recommend."

"I would like to say that I feel privileged to have had Melisma performing at our retirement party. Everything about Melisma Jazz band was wonderful, they all looked very smart and professional and their performance was absolutley fantastic. Many asked where I had found them and others just thought I knew Sarah-Jane personally as she was so friendly! I cannot thank Melisma Jazz enough for making our event such a wounderful success, we will have lovely memories of the afternoon which seemed to end too soon - I just wanted them to play on and on! Thank you all so very, very much."

"Fabulous band. Amazing selection of music and got everyone up on dancefloor. Great musicians and singers. And accommodating - we didn't start until much later than predicted but they were able to flex the timings. Great organisation by Ben in advance meant that all the logistics went very smoothly. I would highly recommend and use again!"

"We hired the Captain's Beard last year and they got the whole boatload of us up and on our feet jigging our hearts out. You'll be surprised how many nautical ballads you know the words to once they get into full swing. Why are the Captain's Beard so great? Because they arrrRRRRRR! "

"Davie, Nicky and I are just back from a trip up north and have only now got 'connected' to the outside world again. Just a wee note to thank you and the rest The Shooglers for an amazing ceilidh at our wedding at Lunga. We loved it and everyone else did too, more than a few folk took your cards and are trying to think of an excuse to have their own ceilidh and book you guys for it! "A big, big thank you to The Leathernecks for playing at our wedding on 22nd April. They were absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better night! I don’t think we had a single guest who didn’t mention how good they were! It will be both of our thirtieths in 2026, so I’m already thinking, “Hmm maybe we need to plan a big party with the Leathernecks…” More karaoke, more crowd-surfing… Seriously though, we had the time of our lives and we can’t thank you enough for keeping everyone thoroughly entertained and being so accommodating of our random requests.
