"Lion Strings played at my wedding in August 2017. There are no other words than... OH MY GOD! She is absolutely incredible, everyone's emotions ran high on the day whilst listening to her play (she even made my husband cry!!). She is so lovely, she really helped me whilst planning my wedding, she's really easy to talk to and she really made our day even more special with her beautiful music. I cannot recommend her enough!! Thanks x"

"Just wanted to say an absolutely massive thank you to you, the band and the DJ for yesterday. You guys all nailed it! I want to just re-live the night again to hear you guys. You really were fantastic and every time we see you I'm sure you all just get better and better! Still can't believe how many people you got up dancing between starters and mains, no one wanted to eat! Haha. I've heard only good things already about you guys and especially how you catered for everyones different genres and generations! "I just wanted to take a moment and send you a note of thanks for the performance thatJock Rock turned in on July 1st at our daughter's wedding. We have all seen bands that simply mail it in and go through their sets as if they justwant it to be over with. The energy and enthusiasm that the band generated at our reception was simply infectious and you ignited the entire crowd into a wonderful frenzy. The Scots, Brits, Irish, Americans and others in our audience had the best time ever and couldn't tell us enough how much they loved your performance. But in addition to showing us that you are world-class entertainers, I was also very touched by your humanity. We are an extremely close family so in all candour it is sometimes difficult for me to have my daughter live across the pond where I don't get to visit with her as often as I can with her two sisters who live in the States. Her favourite song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow because it speaks to her in a very real way. We were disappointed when we learned that the band did not have that song on your playlist because we thought that it would make the Father/Daughter dance is so incredibly meaningful. One of the greatest surprises of the night was when we realized that you had taken the time to learn the song and played it for us for our dance. You took the time and effort to emotionally connect with the bride and her father on her special day and we can't thank you enough for that. "

"Callum stepped in when a band we’d booked had to cancel. Nothing was a problem, Callum was amazing, even changing from inside to outside halfway through the performance wasn’t an issue. He sang great songs and can certainly play that guitar. Everyone enjoyed the evening. Thanks Callum, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and would definitely book again. 👍🏼"

"Your set list hit exactly the right tone, bringing pretty much everyone at the wedding on to the dance floor at some point from the teens to the more senior guests of the day (including my godfather who was the vicar at the wedding and is in his mid seventies!). The music was of a very high standard and it was clear that you are all highly capable musicians who combine excellently to form a very tight unit. The length of set was exactly right, in short we genuinely can not find anything other than entirely positive feedback to give to you from the day. Fantastic does not quite cover it. The dance floor was full from the first song to the last … even the sound check had people on their feet! Thank you guys for providing such high quality entertainment and playing a big part in an evening we will remember forever. Thanks again to everyone in the band."

"We were introduced to Jean through Sarah-Jane 2 days before our wedding day. Jean was an outstanding Harpist and a pleasure to deal with. She arrived well ahead of the time to ensure she wasn't late and called me in advanced. Highly talented and skilled Harpist and an elegant musician. Happy to recommend her to anyone. I should also thank Sarah-Jane for being so helpful. You'll be in safe hands when dealing wit her and she makes sure she delivers. Everything was done promptly and professionally. Communication was excellent and made us feel at ease."

"The band were phenomenal. From our first meeting to discuss the wedding, the guys were really personable and professional and really took an interest in learning what we wanted to help make our day as special as possible. On the wedding day, they did all the setup without a hitch and the performance totally blew me away. The energy they put into the performance was immense and they had everyone in attendance dancing for hours. Most amazing, though, was the way they interacted with the guests - walking through, encouraging engagement and even letting me, the groom, have a solo performance which was an impromptu requests. Really, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience and only wish we could do it all again!"
