Review Centre: Covers Bands

"Unquestionably, one of the best live bands I have seen. The Acoustic Experiment played at a charity event last night and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The enthusiasm, ambience and charisma from Al and Oli flowed throughout the evening, performing a range of cover songs from the 60s to present. I would highly recommend The Acoustic experiment for future weddings and events. "

"Mia and her Miacats played at our Silver Wedding Anniversary. They played as an acoustic duo as people arrived, nice and calm and in the background, but cranked it up with a great variety for two sets with the full band, and got everyone dancing. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of band and the performance of the band, which was really great to hear. We would have no hesitation at all in hiring the Miacats again or recommending them to others."

"Big thanks to Rox & The Roots for putting on such a fantastic show at the Greyhound of the Year Awards. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we’ve never seen the dance floor fill up that quickly before! I’ve heard so many great responses from the gig and we’ve already been asked about a repeat performance from the band next year! "From start to finish they were a pleasure to deal with - totally professional and both really talented musicians when it came to the actual performances! Despite the fact that they mainly play 50s and 60s stuff, Natalie really wanted to walk down the aisle to 'Starlings' by Elbow. They put together their own version of this just for us - and it was truly awesome (I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye either)!"

"We booked Audio Riot for my husband's 40th Birthday party. Everything was easy from booking the band and arranging all details. They band arrived in good time to set up their 'band castle' gazebo and all the equipment in our garden which looked really impressive with all the lights to create a great party atmosphere. The song list was spot-on to cater for the mixed age group and they were happy to take requests. Everyone was very complimentary of the band they had everybody up dancing! It will definitely be a party to remember! Highly recommended!!"

"Jimmy and the band played for us at our End of Year Meeting Event. Jimmy was great to communicate with, very responsive and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They turned up ahead of schedule to set up. They absolutely got the party started and were thoroughly entertaining and a great time was had by all. Can't recommend them enough."

"Crimson Sky played at our wedding and I have to say they were absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere they created really made the evening with three perfectly balanced sets. They were grateful, sincere, efficient and brought a lot of energy too so we were very very happy with the service they provided and I’d recommend them for any event. "
