"When we found Southwest band we knew they were the band for us, their throwback medley was everything we loved from our youth and still love. They definitely delivered the goods, the dance floor was packed and all our guests commented on how good the band was. Thankyou for learning our first dance song. They did not disappoint and a massive highlight of our special day."

"Absolutely stellar band! We booked Ceol Beag for our evening entertainment at our postgraduate research conference. We enquired about a month before (so pretty last minute!) and got a quick response with flexible availability. They showed up near an hour before they were due to start and were left to setup themselves while we managed the other side of the event. The band themselves are lovely people, and the caller helped motivate our attendees and direct them on what to do, which was a massive help considering we had a large number of international students in attendance. Everyone who attended loved the ceilidh and asked for another one next year. It was rated the best part of the event. Definitely recommend Ceol Beag!"

"Second time we have heard Blue jewel - the first at their recent gig in the Stoke Gabriel Village hall just last Saturday they put on a Ceilidh Dance for our wedding reception. Really great on both occasions - super caller for our dance - just right for the many who had never done folk dancing and on both occasions their enthusiasm and light touch really made for a great evening. Would recommend for any occasion "

"Sophie was an absolutely brilliant addition to our wedding in East London. A great selection of tunes and we had loads of messages from guests afterwards telling us how much they enjoyed it and how good she was. Would highly recommend and book again for events in the future! "

"Absolutely amazing band with a repitoire of great songs that everyone can enjoy. They also engage well with the audience allowing would be Divas to get involved with some songs. All in all, a fantastic night, a fantastic bunch of guys and a band I would highly recommend."

"No matter who we speak to that was at our wedding evening party, ALL of them say the band was amazing and we wholeheartedly agree! Possibly the best ceilidh band I've heard, topped off with really clear, friendly instruction (which can make or break this sort of thing)! Even those who aren't so inclined to dancing loved it so I can't think of a better way to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves. The guys were really helpful to deal with and the best priced as well so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much for making the evening such a success chaps!"

"Both my wife and I had the most incredible wedding day on 24/08/19, and your evening set was awesome from start to finish (we were blown away by your version of our request and the surprise of playing our wedding song at the very end!). We cannot thank you enough for an absolutely brilliant evening and for creating a superb atmosphere, along with fun memories. The guests loved you, proven by the fact that the dance floor was busy all night! "I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how fantastic the band were at our wedding at Christmas. They 'read the room' perfectly, and delivered an excellent performance that created a great atmosphere and got the room dancing! Their unique style of delivering well known songs with a gypsy / folk twist was really well received as they didn't try to replicate the song exactly- making them less of a cover band which was just what we wanted. They were also super easy to work with and really relaxed on the day. The fact they also learnt a new song for our first dance was really special! I would not hesitate to recommend them! "
