"From the minute they tuned up with ‘oh What a Night’ we could tell the Absolute band were going to be brilliant. We had booked them last minute after someone had cancelled. We couldn’t believe our luck that they were free - someone else’s loss was our gain! We booked the six piece option with fiddle and they exceeded all of our hopes and expectations. Musically fantastic, lovely guys and a brilliant playlist. We got to have input from their vast repertoire, but then handed it over to them to put it all together and take charge. The dance floor was packed all night and they absolutely MADE our party. Look no further than this band - they are fantastic. "Mister Mayhem are a smashing bunch of guys and their performance was stunning. They are such a talented group of musicians, the lead singer has a superb voice and they were first class performers. They had so many people up on the dance floor right from the off all the way to the very end. They performed new and old equally well, and their Queen tracks in particular were just off the clock brilliant! We like Rock music and if Mister Mayhem put on a concert please let us know – we’d happily buy tickets and take all our mates along."

"Lazy Marmalade recently performed at our festival themed wedding. They captured the vibe perfectly and played a chilled out acoustic set as guests were arriving and then later as part of our drinks reception. We had asked them to learn some of our favourite songs for the ceremony and first dance which they performed excellently. Their evening set of floorfillers was brilliant and everyone was bouncing! There may have even been some crowd-surfing during Mr Brightside… We found the guys doing some research online and went to see them in person at a wedding fair. It’s fair to say they sound as good online as they do in person, if not even better! The guys were very professional in responding to our emails and we would recommend them to anyone looking for an acoustic/rock band for their event. "

"These guys are a proper class act! We’d seen them a few time before booking them for our party. Polished musicians, great vocals, knocking out top tunes all night, and all 💯 per cent live. Great engagement with the crowd, with a real fun vibe, they keep the dance floor moving all night long. They’re also nice guys to deal with, reliable and accommodating. You get talent without a silly price tag. Totally recommended ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ "

"Thank you so much Record Machine for yet another great gig! The boys did a fabulous job at our wedding, playing a great playlist and generally rocking and rolling. They even learnt a new song for our first dance and they smashed it! I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a top band that will play all night long!"

"Sending you and The Carabana Steel Band members a very big thank for playing at the company’s Caribbean Event. You all added the special Caribbean touch to the evening, which was loved by all who attended the evening. The tunes and different melodies of rhythms was totally outstanding, the feedback has been extremely breath taking [Amazing, Fantastic, so Diverse with the tunes, an amazing trio] We are going to carry on practising our Limbo technique. "You guys were great at our wedding! So many of our guests have commented on how good the band were and they kept the dance floor fuller than I’ve seen at some weddings. The DJ sets were brilliantly judged too. It was so nice to have our first dance played live and their cover of McFly’s ‘All About You’ was fantastic. In short, Lazy Marmalade helped to make our day even more special. Thank you! "

"Highly recommend these guys" A brilliant performance by 3 talented musicians and showmen. They made out birthday party go with a swing. Every body was up and dancing, they couldn't help themselves. Wide range of music that got everyone engaged. Highly recommend these guys. Donna and I would like to thank you and the band for a fabulous performance at my birthday party on Saturday (15th April 2023 Redlands Road, Reading, RG1) Everybody enjoyed the music and some have become converts to Irish Trad as a result! The combination of Box, Banjo and Guitar worked very well as did your singing of everybody's favourite sing along songs. I'm sure we will be calling on your services again soon. "As a wedding venue we get to listen to a huge range of bands with prices varying from £500-£5,000. Sadly price has nothing to do -or so it seems- with professionalism, personality and ability! Jolly Polly and the Pirates is very much at the bottom end of this price spectrum, but very, very much at the top of the performance ratings! To sum them up? They are musicians with really nice personalities who have great technical ability and understanding of sound, mixing and the audience. On bass guitar and vocals is Polly, who is probably one of the most energetic singers we have come across, with great variations, presence and depth. On lead guitar (and keys) Jon has great technical skills and enthusiasm for his role in the band, and on drums (and occasionally keys at the same time!!) a drummer who actually loves his drums - at last someone who realises drums are an instrument, not an object to take out your aggression on, perhaps that is down to his experience and talent. Individually they are great - as a band they are awesome! - Certainly at the top of our list and always hoped for! Alpheton Hall Barns - Historic Suffolk Wedding Venue "

"Delta Band were amazing for our wedding! They were professional, punctual and so accommodating. Many of our guests said they were the best part of the night! Would recommend to anyone holding an event or having a wedding to book these guys!"
