"We just thought we'd let you know that the band were absolutely brilliant, everyone was up dancing and having fun all night! They totally rocked it, were flexible, professional & friendly and an all round great band to have. We would highly recommend this band for any wedding/function. "

"They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

" What a superb band! It's was a huge privilege to have you play at our wedding, the guests loved it and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor was ever empty!! When booking the Ashdowne, we were initially drawn to the initial repertoire of indie and rock songs the band had on offer and not to mention the talent of both the guitarists, drummer and singers. The band played acoustic and full band sets which didn't disappoint. A truly talented band, who would not look out of place at a major music festival!! Professional through and through and accommodating to all our needs leading up to and during our special day. Thank you every so much for making it such a wonderful day!! "These guys are so talented and the set they played was a perfect Britpop greatest hits! It's the first wedding I've been to where everybody danced the whole night and a lot of the credit for that has to go to The Original 90’s Britpop Experience. The guys were also really easy to deal with and learnt the song we requested for our first dance."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"We booked The Renegades for our wedding. The band was well prepared with a thorough questionnaire well before the event to ensure a smooth setup, performance, and close. They had a great selection of songs to choose from and performed the off-list requests for the first and Father-Daughter dances perfectly. All the guests were very complimentary of the band and their performance. Communication with their manager, Rhona, was very easy and stress-free. Overall a very well organised and professional dealing, exactly what is required for such an important event. Definitely recommend."

"The most amazing wedding band!! If we could do our wedding over they would be the first thing on the list! One year on and we still can't say enough good things. We had so many compliments about our choice of band, they sang a request for our first dance, were so easy to deal with and just made our night!"
