"The perfect band for a party. Kemptown Hot Club performed at my leaving party at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge University, when I retired as President. I think almost every guest complimented me on the music. Beautiful vocals and a wonderful swing sound of the 1920s to 1940s. Kemptown Hot Club helped to create a relaxing vibe to the party while ensuring they never drowned out the conversation."

"You guys made the wedding. Absolutely fantastic. I am only sorry that I did not come and talk to you all earlier but I understand you spoke to luke and some of the family quite a bit. You had heaps of compliments and several people taking down your name. I hope the heat was not too unbearable and I am pleased they finally found you umbrellas. Thank you for the well wishes. "The band were great and I would book them again without hesitation. They managed to juggle the music preferences of the guest and reacting to the audience perfectly. Including some group dancing was genius and one of my favourite parts of the night. It was a great way for guests to interact and encourage some mixing and mingling. Professional set up. Loved it. Thank you."

"My husband and I were delighted with Blue Jewel who recently played at our wedding reception. Kip was quick to reply to all communications, relaxed at the event (we were running 15 mins behind), and was fantastic at making guests feel involved by learning names and getting the children to do a demonstration. He also followed my request to have a last dance to say goodbye to our guests. It was just what we wanted. Thank you Kip and Co! "
