"Éadaoin performed the harp at our humanist wedding ceremony. She guided us on all aspects of the music and made us feel at ease from the get go. Her music made the atmosphere on the day. She accommodated all our requests and made the day so special. We couldn't recommend her enough!"

"Andrew recently performed for my ex- girlfriend and I at my home over a romantic candle lit dinner. I was trying to win her heart back. The gods conspired against me and sent a severe storm on the evening Andrew was due to travel from London to Brighton cancelling most trains in the process and causing havoc on the motorways. Despite this Andrew made every effort to get here as he knew how important it was too me and somehow he made it here in time. Andrew's mastery of the violin is as intuitive as it is beautiful and he set the tone with the theme from the Godfather. Upon learning that my ex is Hungarian, he played some traditional Hungarian songs that brought tears of joy and laughter to her eyes. She was amazed and It meant so much to me to see her laugh and smile again. A personal highlight for me was when he played Cohen's 'Dance Me To The End of Love'. Andrew can play anything. If there is something he doesn't know (which is rare) he picks it up almost instantly upon the slightest listen. Andrew dressed impeccably, and the really nice thing is that I could tell that Andrew genuinely enjoyed the evening as much as we did. Andrew does not go through the motions, it is clearly more than work for him, it is a passion. It was the most romantic evening my ex and I had ever had together, and we hope to see Andrew again in the near future."

"I asked Claire to play during my proposal to my now fiancé. Claire travelled to Cardiff to perform which was hugely appreciated. She was very accommodating to the music I asked her to play and timings of the surprise proposal. Claire played beautifully and made the moment unforgettable and so special for us both, and it will be a memory we will treasure for the rest of our lives. Claire is extremely friendly and was quick to communicate and accommodate my requests. I would highly recommend Claire’s services to anyone else who want to add something extra special to their event/moment. "

"Kate was very amenable, willing to play either outside or inside. The last minute venue change to inside a barn did not phase her. She is v talented and was able to read the room, playing a wide variety of classical and modern tunes, ensuring there was something for all guests which brought a great energy and something unique and special for our wedding. "Tamilla played at our wedding on the 13th July 2019 and was fantastic. All our guest loved her and my grandparents especially loved "moon river" which I asked Tamilla to play whilst we signed the register. I loved her sound from the first moment I heard her play "a thousand years" on her website, I thought it was so beautiful and she certainly did not disappoint on the day. Absolutely stunning. "Naomi played at our wedding ceremony at the weekend and she was absolutely amazing it was a surprise for my wife and it went down brilliant. Naomi was so professional nothing was too much for her I only got intouch with her a few weeks before the wedding and I changed the play list 3 times but it was still not a problem she dealt with it so professionally. I would highly recommend Naomi you will not be disappointed. Thanks again for making our perfect day that extra bit special!"

"Modern Strings was a pleasure to work with for our big day. They were professional from the outset and had a huge choice of songs we could choose from. Anyone thinking of a string quartet or similar for their special day should look know further than these guys. They are brilliant. "
