"Excellent! From start (initial contact and enquiry), to finish (performance), Modern Strings were a pleasure to work with. Sophie was very helpful and accomodating, she also offered a very competitive package, advising what would work in an honest way. She was always prompt with communications, and helped where she could. The team were punctual on the day, and played amazingly, guests loved it! Thanks to the team!"

"Jon and I wanted to contact you to thank you for performing at our wedding last week. To say ourselves and our guests were touched, impressed and blown away with your performance would be an understatement. We had picked our music so carefully but we weren't prepared as to just how emotional it would be to hear you playing them for us. It was ridiculously romantic and my eye's still fill up with tears remembering how perfect it was. Everybody without exception commented on how beautifully you played, it added that extra sparkle to what was always going to be a magical day for us and our guests. "Lizz was a violinist at our wedding recently, and she was totally amazing! So many of our guests especially mentioned how fabulous she was - from initial quote through to the day Lizz was very professional and friendly, she worked with us closely to plan our day including a special piece for the procession and exit from church and chosen pieces for entertaining our guests throughout the ceremony and champagne reception! "Our residents where enchanted by Miriam and enthralled by her playing at a recent mini concert she gave at Whitegates Care Home. To have such a talented musician in our lounge was a special privilege and Miriam’s enthusiastic engagement with our residents was much appreciated. One said, “The viola had such a wonderful sound… it’s a beautiful instrument and was played beautifully by Miriam. I asked her to play a special song and she is going to find it and practise it for next time. I hope we have her back soon."
