Review Centre: Violin / Fiddle Players

" We booked Claire after being let down by another supplier not responding to us 4 weeks before the wedding - she responded immediately, even offering to come back from her holiday a day early to play for us. She was absolutely incredible (the violin was my non-negotiable for the wedding) and it was everything we pictured and more. I have some amazing memories and videos of my bridesmaids practicing walking down the aisle in their pj’s whilst she was playing for them and won’t forget the smile on my face when I saw her when I got to the end of the aisle. The guests were all commenting on how amazing it was and my sister in law now wants to book for her wedding!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone, she went above and beyond for us at short notice. We couldn’t thank her enough - Mr & Mrs James xxx "

"Penny played beautifully at our wedding. We gave her a list of songs and she played a selection at her house when we met her a few months before the wedding. She then sourced the backing tracks so could play the complete list on our day. She was wonderful to deal with , and her music was a delightful part of the day and something all of our guests commented on. We would have no hesitation in recommending her."

"Andrew (Andreas) did an amazing job arranging and performing for our wedding and drinks reception in May this year. We had specific requirements regarding song choices and he managed to work with us months prior to put together a fantastic set for the pre-wedding, bridal entrance, signing of the register and drinks reception. It sounded absolutely beautiful with Andrew on piano accompanied by a cellist (Claire), delivered with first class professionalism. We had many compliments from our family and friends on beautiful the music was and how lovely Andrew and team were. If you want someone versatile, friendly, with high integrity and professionalism, Andrew is your man!"

"Working with Lyra Strings was an absolute pleasure. After reaching out to LIPA for musician recommendations, Lyra Strings responded quickly with video samples and her bio. As the only solo musician at the event, Lyra Strings had a demanding schedule with multiple 1-1.5 hour performances. Despite this, she delivered flawless performances that created a beautifully relaxed and intimate atmosphere for our Cream Tea Experience. Since the event, we’ve received so many lovely comments from visitors who were impressed by her music. I would highly recommend Lara for any occasion that calls for a sophisticated and elegant musical touch."

"Beatrice performed at my 30th birthday party and she was absolutely incredible. She created the perfect atmosphere from the moment guests arrived. The mix of pop and classical worked beautifully and everyone kept asking where I had found her. Professional, punctual and extremely talented. Would book again without hesitation!"

"Dermot was incredible!! Himself and the two other musicians were absolutely fantastic and were the highlight of the night! They even let me sing with them which was a real honor. Everybody was asking me where i found the band and how they could book them for future parties. Highly recommended :)"
