"Thank you immensely for the absolutely superb performance at Ratho Parish Church. The success of a wedding relies so much on background music and Scotland Strings certainly excelled in that regard. Personally, Gill and I missed out somewhat as our arrival, by dint of normal bride and father custom and practice, occurred in the late stages of your performance. However, our guests spoke very highly indeed of your presence and delivery and raved of how the quality enhanced a momentous occasion. Morag, once again, many thanks for helping to make Gill and Jamie’s wedding such a huge success. Best wishes for the continuing success of Scotland Strings and the enjoyment that goes with it."

"The music was pitched perfectly for what we needed, no pun intended! It was beautiful and quirky to capture people’s attention but mellow enough that folks could chat quietly if they wanted. The arrangements were just delicious. Sarah was so easy to work with and went the extra miles preparing gorgeous covers of some of our favourite songs. She was definitely a talking point of the day!"

"Just a quick note to thank you and the Air Guitar Band for putting on a fantastic show for our wedding. We absolutely loved them and plenty of our guests were telling us how much they enjoyed the band and how impressed they were with them. I know a few people were going to leave before the evening part of the event but when they heard the band warming up stayed until the finish. A very professional bunch of guys from set up to rousing finish. Shame I don’t have more events to organise that need a great rock band."

"B&M played at our wedding and honestly… they MADE the night. From the first dance to the very last song, the dance floor was full. They read the room perfectly and switched between romantic, upbeat, and party vibes so naturally. So many of our guests came up to us asking “Where did you find this duo?!” Their version of our first dance song was even better than the original (sorry not sorry 😅). Professional, friendly, and just insanely talented. If you’re getting married - book them. Don’t even think twice."

"You know how you read some reviews and you think it must have been one of the band or a member of the family? Beleive me this isn't one of them. Nicola and the boys were absolutely perfect. Everyone and I mean everyone had the best time. Such an intimate experience with a fabulous band. Our wedding was like an interactive later with Jools Holland gig. We couldn't be happier with the quality of music, atttitude and overall professionalism of Nicola and the boys. Would we have them again at another event? We wouldn't consider anyone else. There are so many "wedding bands" with standard generic chart music out there. If you want a charismatic performance with timeless music perfectly played don't waste your time looking anywhere else. We couldn't get our guests off of the bloody dance floor and there was also a much loved encore!! Nicola we can't thank you and the boys enough. You made our day spectacular. "The music was fantastic. We danced the whole time and Catherine was in touch with us beforehand to check our music needs. It was great...what energy and fantastic voices they both had. Everyone loved them and I would recommend you all to others. Thank you so much for your efficient service...it took the stress out of sorting the music out...just initial research and we found what we wanted. Fantastic...thanks to you all. "We had a joint 50th & 80th birthday party. Black Velvet were fantastic. Great musicians and made the Barn dance run smoothly. We had ages from 5 to 80 and they tailored everything perfectly. Made it a birthday to remember."
