"Christian played at our wedding, he played as the guests were arriving, the walk in song, after the ceremony and during the fizz and canapes, he was sensational, it really set the mood and emotions throughout this time and was perfect. Christian himself is very friendly and talented, he even learnt a song he wasn't familiar with, with only a week to go until the wedding. I couldn't recommend having him play at your event enough. I can honestly say it was the perfect touch to our special day."

"Could not recommend this band enough. We had them at our wedding and absolutely everyone was full of praise for them long after the wedding. We set the song list together, they even learnt a new song or two for us and let my wife get up and do a song with them. Very competitively priced for the quality of the band. We were beyond happy with them.. book them!"

"From the moment Jamie helped organise everything, he was always on hand, and put the band together, the whole experience was fantastic. On the night, the band brought incredible energy, played an amazing variety of songs, and kept our family and friends on the dance floor all evening! Everyone absolutely loved them. "Matilda was fantastic from the first contact. Very responsive and ran through a variety of options of set lists. On the day she was on time and really bubbly and friendly. She is a talented musician with a great voice. Her individual style with stomp box and vocaliser really sets her apart and got us dancing. She was so good that we asked her to stay for an extra hour! Overall top class performance and I would definitely recommend. Sarah Jane from lastminutemusicians was also very efficient and responsive. She found a variety of act options for me, one of whom was Matilda."

"I first discovered The Scott Standards and was instantly obsessed with the lead singers voice, it’s truly mesmerising. When I found out they were available for my wedding, I was absolutely over the moon. From the very first meeting the lead singer was so accommodating and tailored a customised package to fit exactly what I wanted. She guided me through song choices with such patience. Her communication was flawless, both on Instagram and WhatsApp, always quick to reply and so supportive throughout the planning process. On the day itself, they were professional, punctual, and the lead singer Lucinda looked absolutely stunning, dressed perfectly for the occasion. Their performances were honestly magical and they created some unforgettable moments. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the performances were and loved every minute of it. I couldn’t be happier that I chose The Scott Standards. They went above and beyond and made the day feel even more special. Without a doubt, I’ll be booking them again for any future special occasions."

"I hired the Hound Dogs for my 50th birthday and they were brilliant. There was a range of ages from 20 to 90 at the party but they managed to get pretty much everyone to dance (including my husband who hates dancing). They are a fantastic musicians and also really nice people - there was some confusion over timings from the venue and they volunteered to go over the finish time quoted in order to complete the set. Highly recommended."
