Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"WIRED played for us at our wedding last night. They were absolutely amazing. From our first dance to the final song they kept the dance floor full all night. All of our guests raved about how fantastic they were & their choices of music kept people of all ages dancing all night! During the evening, they checked in with us before they started & also during their break to make sure we were happy with how it was going & if there was anything more they could do for us. They engaged with our guests & gave them all a fantastic evening. From the moment we booked the band, they regularly checked in on us to make sure plans were still going ahead & what sort of music we were looking for & what first dance we wanted. They did a brilliant job with our first dance & we loved it. If we had any questions they were very prompt in getting back to us & were very approachable & friendly at all times. I would absolutely recommend them for anybody wanting a fantastic band to make your event amazing, bit it a wedding or anything else at all! I wouldn't hesitate to book them again."

"The Cheers performed at our wedding in August 2021. They were absolutely fantastic and everyone had a brilliant time dancing. The acoustic duo were brilliant too. We couldn’t have wished for a better evening. Ben was great over the last 18 months especially as we had to delay twice but he was very reassuring and we managed to get the day we always wanted in the end. I would highly recommend The Cheers"

"The Dance Collective provided a fantastic edge to our evening event. The performance was outstanding, not only was everyone up dancing from the very first song, they kept everyone on the dance floor with a plethora of hits, which left everyone wanting more. The Dance Collective even had more than a little help from the audience who couldn't help but sing along!!! The bands' punctuality, was second to none, there were no interruptions / disruptions during our dinner whilst they were setting up, once ready, before my eyes, the final crumbs of desserts were forgotten, wine glasses replenished, and everyone had abandoned the dining tables ready to hit the dance floor. Personally I could not fault the communication between myself as the organiser of the event and The Dance Collective, but also the dialogue between the band and the venue itself, all parties were kept fully abreast of the timing's of the sets, as well as anything else we were to expect. Lastly I can not comment enough on the professionalism which I had the pleasure to encounter during this event, it made organising the event far less stressful! A cracking evening, which people are still talking about! - I'm hoping for another excuse to book The Dance Collective band again!"

"We were so delighted we had this band at our birthday party, they were awesome! Peter is a fabulous showman and the band members super talented. It was a party to remember and it was absolutely the band that made it. They even added a new song that we asked for , Kinky Afro which was really special. It was all our guests were talking about. They they turned up the volume to 11….! "

"Having Absolute Band topped off our perfect day. I don't think we really got any photos as everyone was dancing from the moment they came on. In fact, I think people were even dancing to their sound check! Communication was great throughout the booking process and we liked that you could choose to add certain musicians so we included a fiddler as we wanted some Irish classics too. The band played two brilliant sets and before we knew it, the night was over. Exactly how we wanted our wedding to end, with everyone wanting more! "Both my wife and I had the most incredible wedding day on 24/08/19, and your evening set was awesome from start to finish (we were blown away by your version of our request and the surprise of playing our wedding song at the very end!). We cannot thank you enough for an absolutely brilliant evening and for creating a superb atmosphere, along with fun memories. The guests loved you, proven by the fact that the dance floor was busy all night! It was a real pleasure having you celebrate our special day with us and we will certainly see you again in the near future, ready to rock out all over again! Hope you took lots of cake (if Wil didn’t get there first) and that you have a great time at your second gig in 24 hours. "Matt & Co. provided the live music for our 50th Wedding Anniversary party. They were excellent - as shown by the fact that the dancefloor was full from the first song to the last. There were dancers from 3 years of age to 80 and everyone had a fantastic time. Well done The Rockpins - Please play on!"
