"Christa was incredible from the moment I messaged her. I found her on a Google search and then found out she knew a friends Mum who also highly recommended her. She is professional, warm, friendly, organised and her pianist skills and repertoire are unrivalled! Christa got to know us well and our music styles, and managed to incorporate some nirvana and guns n roses into our wedding day mix, as well as our x 2 songs of choice for the walk down the aisle and back (remember us this way, Lady Gaga and nothing else matters, Metallica) Christa was so warm to our guests and even played some requests for the children who really took a shine to her Nothing was too much trouble and she even agreed to play with our cellist (my friend on cello) - which worked beautifully! My only wish is that I had another event to book Christa for - so I’ll get planning! Thank you for making our day just perfect - musically you are so gifted but you’re also such a lovely person - we couldn’t have wished for more. Helen and Andy xxx"

"Well what can I say apart from Alton you were absolutely incredible, I have honestly lost count of how many people came up to us to say how amazing you were! Seeing all of our friends and family up singing and dancing during the wedding breakfast like that was one of the highlights of our day, your music created such a great atmosphere it will be a memory we will treasure forever! Big thank you again from the new Mr and Mrs Yeomans !!"

"We booked the Through the Decades trio for a surprise party for my father’s 60th birthday. We were absolutely thrilled with the performance! The band contacted us beforehand to tailor the performance to the event, and they put together a fantastic show of 1940s music, and when we told them that the guest of honour was an RAF veteran, they suggested that they perform in RAF uniforms, which was a lovely touch. All three of the singers were wonderful. The performance was perfect, very slick and well choreographed, and they engaged the audience. On top of the outstanding quality of the group, they were also incredibly friendly and helpful, they were personable and professional when setting up, and they stayed after the show to take pictures with the guests and wish my father a happy birthday, which was just the icing on the cake. I really cannot overstate how impressed we were with the group, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a vintage act to perform at an event."

"The experience was perfect from start to finish. From the very start, the communication between us and the company was fast and efficient. The standard of musicians was excellent and highly professional. The music they played had such a huge emotional impact that every one of our guests gave them a standing ovation! It doesn't get better than that! So, enormous thanks to the Surrey Strings and their agency! 10 out of 10!!!"

"Hired Laura for my husbands 80th birthday party, a brilliant choice of songs had everyone up dancing,it was great to have an excellent singer and not just a disco, she made such a difference to the night, will definitely book her again in the future and highly recommend her for any celebration, and also Laura is a really lovely person. "

"Sounds Interesting gave Gateway audience something of a shock and something to think about as well as enjoy. We did not all realise the breadth and scope of Elgar’s music until hearing the splendid piano quintet, played with such verve and delicacy by Sounds Interesting led by Anne Tupling. In addition to giving such a pleasure the concert raised £212 for Comic Relief – good result all round Muriel "

"“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for last night! You guys were absolutely brilliant….you totally got the party rocking, everyone had a great time! Literally everyone came up to me and told me how awesome you were so thank you very very much! You made my husbands 40th very memorable! I’ve been to many parties recently where the live music has cost 2 or 3 times what you charge and were just nowhere near as good as you guys. I got a few photos of you guys playing so if you are happy for me to put your contact details on I know you’ll get a lot more bookings from it! Thanks again, we will certainly be booking you again”!
