Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"The Last Cavaliers performed at our wedding this Summer and they were absolutely brilliant! Everyone, from my friends in their 20's to my grandparents friends in their 70's, mentioned how much they enjoyed the live music and dancing the night away. We opted for the 6 piece band with brass section and loved it! The brass section really added to the party atmosphere and if you're thinking of booking The Last Cavaliers you MUST book 'with brass' - definitely worth it! The Last Cavaliers were recommended to us by another well known northern function band, that we'd seen before, and we were thrilled to discover that these guys are actually better! 
One thing that we particularly appreciated was that the band took the time to learn our first dance, which was a compilation of 2 songs, and they did a fantastic job. 

Hopefully we won't personally need these guys for another wedding (ahaha) but we can't recommend them enough. You are awesome!"

"We booked Hot Hats to play at our wedding in November 2017. We got married at a small venue and so their 2 person band was perfect. They were highly professional and helped to create the fun and relaxed atmosphere we wanted and were very flexible around our timings for the day. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone to play at their wedding."

"Thank you so much to Ceilidh With Us for all the band did for our wedding, we absolutely loved the ceilidh - it was so much fun and we are 100% satisfied! 😃 The caller was fantastic and explained everything very clearly. The music was really fun and it was helpful when songs got gradually faster; the speed was perfect. The band also managed the number of people well, as there were a lot of people for the space. The communication with the band has been absolutely fantastic as well in terms of meetings, arranging things behind the scenes, and coordinating with the venue. We ended up leaving a bit early simply because we were absolutely exhausted by that point, and the band were wonderful and accommodating in terms of changing the order of songs, so thank you for that - it was a shame we couldn’t stay right until the end!"

"Thank you so much Maria and the band for playing at my wife Beth’s 30th birthday in Leeds on Friday. Many of the guests have been asking after you since then and many were much later home on the night than they planned as they were too busy dancing! The choice of songs, the quality of the playing and vocal - it was all excellent, perfect for the party and made the night that much more special. "Such an AMAZING band!! They kindly did a charity event for the children’s hospice I work for. They are absolutely brilliant and perform a wide range of different songs. Very talented and really get the crowd going. All the children and staff loved them and we danced the afternoon away. Really lovely guys and would 100% recommend them!!! Best band I have heard in a long time! If you are looking for an amazing band look no further!!"

"We had Daisy & AMJ play for our wedding in September and had so much fun! The whole experience was made just so easy, from booking to agreeing our first dance, Daisy was on top of everything. They went above and beyond to get our first dance request sorted, and played so beautifully. The evening was perfect, we had loads of people up dancing - young to old! Would definitely book again."

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a great asset to the evening. The band members were friendly and they were very good at spreading their enthusiasm with the party guests. They did not give me any cause to regret making the booking, and I would recommend them to others. The choice of dances was appropriate for the skill-level of the guests, and the caller was a good coach for those one or two who did not know their clockwise from their anticlockwise. They helped to make a really good evening that everyone enjoyed. Thank you."
