Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"We chose Chapel Hill Duo to play through our ceremony and drinks reception. The communication from booking (over 18 months in advance) to the day was great and put us at ease. We were given a large song list to select from ourselves and were spoilt for choice! The was a great mix of old classics and modern chart music- and everything in between! On the day Chapel Hill thoroughly entertained our guests and were widely complemented. We were worried that with 100 guests the music would be 'lost' in the background but actually it was what gave our wedding afternoon such a warm, welcoming and happy atmosphere. Thank you so much, our day wouldn't have been the same without you!"

"We were worried about choosing a band because we had to just trust reviews and sample videos and it made us so nervous. But - WOW. You didn't just nail the music, you played with so much enthusiasm and you were communicative right the way through the process. The dance floor was full from start to finish and we received so many compliments from our guests who said you were absolutely incredible - which of course we agreed with. We had planned a lot more for our first dance but had to scale it right back to a prom sway when I spent the afternoon tripping over my dress, but one of the highlights of the whole day was when you picked us out for Mr Brightside. By then I was in a pair of John's Auntie's flip flops and we'd had enough fizz that we just let rip and had the most brilliant dance. That, and you keeping everyone on the floor for 'Sit Down', one of my favourite songs, and seeing the entire room crying and laughing at the same time trying to hold a squat. You and the band absolutely made the evening 'do. "

"Hi MaTt and the guys, what a fantastic night, the wedding in itself was a good wedding, but The RockPins just made it all the more fantastic. We had so many people say how brilliant the day was and the band was fantastic. I might of used the word fantastic a few times but it was. Thank you guys for making our day special. Paul & Keli."

"What can I say? The band were incredible! Really easy to deal with before the day, and really made our evening celebrations special on the day itself. They read the crowd perfectly, and so many people were commenting on how much fun they were having. I'd book them again in a heartbeat!"

"Soundscape Duo are a unique covers band. Their harmonies are interesting and clever often refreshing familiar tunes and bringing them to us as if they were original. An upbeat sound with skillful use of their instruments and voices. Really great group of guys, and a joy to have performing in The Walnut Tree."

"Thank you so much for your help with making our recent wedding at Rowhill Grange so special. All of our guests absolutely loved having the band playing as they enjoyed their drinks & canapés, and so many have commented how it was wonderful to have something so different and unusual at a wedding. Martin & I were so delighted you were able to provide the tropical atmosphere that we wanted & you really helped to make our day absolutely wonderful for us both, although of course the perfect weather helped (so thanks too if you had any hand in that!). "Our daughter got married last year, and we asked Sandeep to play Sitar, Sareengi, and Tabla for the reception party. We are very pleased with Sandeep and his team. They arrived at the venue on time and played traditional and contemporary music on their Sitar, Sareengi, and Tabla. All our guests, old and young, were mesmerized by their music. The whole team was very courteous, polite, and well-mannered. We are especially pleased as this wedding was originally planned for 2021 and we booked Sandeep for August 2021. But with the pandemic, we had to move the date and year from 2021 to 2022, and Sandeep kept the new date available for us. He kept in touch with us during the pandemic. We recommend Sandeep and his team for any function and wish them all success with their music."
