"Hi Fiddlestix, Just a quick note to say thank you very much for the fabulous performances and ceilidh yesterday. The music was hugely complimented by our guests, and we had a wonderful time. Thanks to Mary’s great calling everyone got into the swing of it so readily - even the ceilidh novices! John’s mum Jill wanted to pass on her feedback too: “the music was highly impressive and the caller was top quality - we very much enjoyed the ceilidh”. "Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were fantastic! From first point of contact by email, we found them to be helpful, flexible and professional. And then on the night they were all these things again and brilliant musicians with an excellent caller in Kip. He was so patient and fun. What we particularly appreciated was that Kip encouraged people to join in but didn't harangue or hassle anyone. He showed people what to do and ribbed some of the larger than life characters, which all added to the friendly warmth of the occasion. For anyone who isn't sure about having a ceilidh at a wedding, we would recommend this band as a brilliant introduction. My husband wasn't sure because he didn't want to feel forced to dance as he only usually does this when he's had several pints of beer. But we found Blue Jewel to be really encouraging, without being pushy and everyone joined in. It's really inclusive and a way of getting all ages up and dancing together. We were so pleased because our teenagers loved it too and no-one worried about being 'cool'. It's a very natural and traditional way of letting your hair down, mixing with everyone and having a good laugh. We would highly recommend this band."

"H&S perform a uniquely stripped back style of retro hits leaving you feeling uplifted and relaxed. They played for our wedding ceremony having learnt one of our favourite songs before entertaining our guests for the reception. Would definitely recommend, they’ll add a touch of class to any event."

Your selection of music was great and I had so many comments about what a lovely touch it was to have some pre-dinner entertainment, which we haven’t done in the past. "We booked Ceilidh With Us for our wedding and we were so happy with them! Lilac, the band manager, was great with communication in the run-up to the wedding - very responsive and understood what we were looking for. The band on the day were fantastic and all our guest had an amazing time! Many of them particularly commented on how impressed they were with our caller Nell who did an awesome job in teaching all the dances to such a big crowd of us :)"
