Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"Thank you to Disco Infernos for helping to make my wedding the incredible day it was. One of my only individual responsibilities for the wedding was organising the music, so I felt a good deal of pressure to make sure it was right. Disco Infernos was impressive due to its range of quality artists to choose from, but while I cannot comment on other acts, I cannot speak highly enough of Disco Infernos. They were friendly and professional in the build up, but most importantly performed amazingly on the night. My major concern was keeping the dance floor full and having the energy high throughout the last few hours of the night. I think it would be fair to say the marquee was bursting with energy throughout, and I don't think I've ever seen a fuller dance floor at a wedding. I am so pleased that I booked the extra sax and trumpet, and that the band played mainly the soul/motown and disco/funk parts of their repertoire. It meant that everyone was up dancing from 20 year olds to the bride's 91 year old Grandma. They even let a friend of mine butcher 'Wonderful Tonight' during their break! Really couldn't have been better in any way, other than an extra 3 hours dancing! 5 stars. "

I had a look around during the last song and everyone in the room was on the dance floor, it was magic! I'll certainly keep a look out for you in Stortford or Harlow and will drag some friends along. "Uptown Groove were brilliant, very fun and friendly, but well organised and professional too, they got set up with a minimum of fuss and their performance was a blast, one of the highlights of our special day. I would definitely recommend them."

"Part-B are absolutely amazing! We booked them for a surprise party and they absolutely delivered - sound was amazing, song choice was fab and they brought a great atmosphere. "Fantastic band. Elephants in the Room played at my 50 birthday party. They were outstanding. From the minute they arrived, they were professional, friendly and courteous. The music was brilliant and my guests and I danced all night. They catered the set list to what I wanted and nothing was too much trouble. This band is a must for a fabulous party."

"Absolutely fantastic, I've known the lead singer for a while, she started this band 5 years ago ,they are one of the biggest country party bands across the UK playing over 50 shows a year! You will not go far wrong booking this modern Nashville style band, if they are not already booked! Simply amazing!"

"Me and my wife hired the band to play our wedding and had the best time ever! All members were polite and friendly, dressed for the occasion and made our night. Excellent communication with our selfs and the venue, very well organised and very considerate. We only had a small room for the band but they made it work and sound great, also very respectful of the venue. They’re all very talented musicians and all of our guests were blown away by the performance, they had the dance floor full for 3 hours. I challenge you to find a wedding band that can shred like these guys."
