"They were truly amazing. Jamie's vocals were sublime and quite frankly I couldn’t take my eyes off him all night. They played songs that appealed to all ages and really got the party started. They were so professional from start to finish and all my guests were very impressed."

"For our Wedding, Ley played the classical guitar for us during the Wedding Breakfast, and it created a fantastic ambience for the meal. He also played at our Evening Reception, and it is wonderful to look back at some great pictures of a dance floor packed with our guests.  The clever thing about his music for a wedding is that it spans the generations so everyone joins in. I know that my father was thrilled to be granted a wish to have his special song played for me at my wedding.  Ley learned the song especially and kept it as a surprise for me on the day. Ley also learned ‘our song’ for the First Dance. He performed a fantastic version of the original, it was amazing as all he was given was a CD to listen to. It was such a great personal touch to make the day extra special."

"After spending weeks looking for a wedding band who could play more than the standard fare, we were intrigued on seeing their repertoire; finally a band who could satisfy all the guests with a mixture of classy soul, RnB and pop. Once we listened to their demo we were sold; it was clear that Rebecca has the voice of an angel. However, this didn’t prepare us for the performance on the day, which exceeded all expectations. Love songs delivered with heartbreaking beauty and pop that had everyone off their seats until the last note of the evening. Rebecca and the Somerset Soul are a wedding band for the discerning listener who gave us the perfect end to a perfect day."

"We recently had the pleasure of hosting an ABBA tribute band Take a Chance on Three at Mears Ashby Village Hall, and they were absolutely fantastic. From the moment they arrived, the group was polite, respectful, proficient, and a joy to work with, making the whole experience seamless for our organisers. Their performance was energetic and engaging, with brilliant attention to detail that really captured the spirit of ABBA. The audience interaction was great —encouraging everyone to sing along, get up, and dance, which created a lively and inclusive atmosphere throughout the evening. It was clear the crowd loved every minute, with the dance floor full and smiles all around. We received so many positive comments from the audience, and the band played a huge part in making the event such a success. We would be more than happy to book them again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, professional, and crowd-pleasing act."

Many thanks for your kind words Sue. We have always had fun when playing for you at the Flying Pig. Your creative bar dancing to our version of “Wipeout” is define a very special memory for all of us ? Hopefully we can recreate this at some time in the future as this is a showpiece number for Kevin our amazing new drummer!
