Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"We recently had Starbound perform at our wedding and were blown away by how brilliant they were. The band's entire performance was energetic, fun, and had people of all ages dancing from the moment they started to the moment they finished at the end of the night (to chants from our guests of "One more song!"). Exactly the songs we wanted performed from start to finish and some brilliant moments, including Adam the singer coming onto the dance floor for some of the performances (which everyone loved). All our guests have since said how fantastic they were. We would book them again in a heartbeat!"

"The evening was a great success for the charity and the Bee Gees Tribute went down well – once we got people onto the dance floor they had a great time. The guys were charming… They were great fun and everyone seemed to have a good time with a number staying on to bop when they might otherwise have just gone home post charity auction stage of the evening. "

"Mister Mayhem are a smashing bunch of guys and their performance was stunning. They are such a talented group of musicians, the lead singer has a superb voice and they were first class performers. They had so many people up on the dance floor right from the off all the way to the very end. They performed new and old equally well, and their Queen tracks in particular were just off the clock brilliant! We like Rock music and if Mister Mayhem put on a concert please let us know – we’d happily buy tickets and take all our mates along."

"They were so lovely, they were a huge hit and have been recommended on to many! I felt so bad that it was such a chilly evening, they were great though, very happy. Please wish them all the best in the future - it was our fairwell party, heading back to Australia, so unfortunately we wont be here to hire them again."

"Oh what a night! Thank you both so much for making my party! You girls were fantastic and all of my thank you messages include you girls. You were incredible and I could not have wished for a better night. I hope that I can recommend you. I want to have another party so I can have you sing! Really it was very special and I only hope you had as much fun as we did. One or two casualties at the end of the night (just tipsy friends) but all in all a fabulous and memorable evening. "Just returned from our honeymoon and wanted to say a massive thank you for the fantastic music you and your band provided on our wedding day, you were all simply brilliant!!! Everyone has been talking about it for the past three weeks and for us it simply was the icing on the cake, what a way to finish a wedding!! Many thanks for your kind words Sue. We have always had fun when playing for you at the Flying Pig. Your creative bar dancing to our version of “Wipeout” is define a very special memory for all of us ? Hopefully we can recreate this at some time in the future as this is a showpiece number for Kevin our amazing new drummer!
