Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"The StereoBeats played our wedding reception on 01/08/24 at Lodge on Loch Lomond and absolutely smashed it! We've had so many compliments from our guests who couldn't stop talking about how fab the whole band was and the energy they brought. The band learned our first dance song which made they day even more special and is something Darren and I will never forget. The dance floor was full all night but the highlight of the set was the Ibiza mix when Marsh got down on the floor with our guests and her sax - it was absolutely brilliant! We had the best night thanks to Stereobeats and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to book their wedding entertainment - the best in the business! Thank you so much again - We will rave about you guys forever!!"

"John, Amy, Ennio and Simon were fabulous - just as for previous reviewers the music was perfect for creating a great party atmosphere, relaxed but interesting and so many compliments from guests! Would recommend them without hesitation."

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Edina to create a very special marriage proposal to my now fiancee. I am from the United States and it was a bit daunting to find a professional musician that could carry out my vision and communicate with me from over the pond! Edina was great from the first email, courteous and timely in reponse. She learned 3 new songs to perform for us and the vocalist that worked with her (Hettie) was great too. She also took special requests for a recording of the songs and champagne for us to toast. Edina and Hettie sat in the cold and waited for us to arrive at the proposal spot! And the performance was lovely, made us laugh and cry, and made the greatest moment completely surreal. I recommend working with Edina, she is a pleasure. "

"The music was absolutely spot on, so many bangers and H&R nailed the vibe 🙌🏻 we had an absolute blast on the dance floor and everyone said how brilliant the music was. Huw also DJ'd later in the evening, bringing along a great lighting set and kindly staying later (everyone was loving it and dancing) which we really, really appreciated. We weren't sure about a first dance and Huw read the room so well. Just 10/10 all round!"

"what can we say... well they were amazing from start to finish. We had over a hundred guests at the wedding and everyone commented on how amazing they were. So many people were up dancing! The only regret we have is that we weren't able to dance more! Big thank you from Mat and Sarah you guys, you helped to make our wedding so special."

"Eat Square booked The Mystery Machine for our Charity Christmas Pie & Mash Dinner. We had hired a sizeable hall and the band filled it with great sounds. The music really added atmosphere and filled the hall with cheer. We are sure people stayed longer, spent more on the bar (all for charity) and had a fantastic evening as a result of the fantastic selection of hits played by the band. We will have no hesitation booking them again."

"Mia and her Miacats played at our Silver Wedding Anniversary. They played as an acoustic duo as people arrived, nice and calm and in the background, but cranked it up with a great variety for two sets with the full band, and got everyone dancing. Many of our guests complimented us on our choice of band and the performance of the band, which was really great to hear. We would have no hesitation at all in hiring the Miacats again or recommending them to others."

"The Bandits were our headline act ending the night at our Dark Fabrics Cabaret show. They wowed our crowd with a brilliant selection of 50s hits, superbly played by the talented band; lead singer Steve suavely brought back the art of true showmanship in a frontman. Our audience were off their feet, benches pushed back and dancing away halfway through their first song, and it was a stellar finale to our performance showcase event. We would gladly book The Bandits again - or catch them at another venue!"

"We were looking for a Ceilidh Band for our wedding reception and we were thrilled to find Craigi! They were flexible responding to our requests when organising the event and wore traditional Scottish dress! They were very knowledgeable and talented musicians. We had lots of positive feedback from our guests! With clear instructions from the caller everyone picked up on the moves and were willing to join in! We had a wonderful time and we would like to thank the whole band for their part in making our night special! We highly recommend! "
