"Truly the BEST band ever and the most AMAZING people, If you are reading these reviews wondering if The Players are the band for you then let me reassure you that they are...... As a Wedding Photographer I have seen my fair share of bands but The Players were an easy pick for us, they really do know how to liven up the dance floor. We let them have free reign over what music to play and they picked some corkers. All our guests were raving over them and still are 2months later..in fact our friends loved them so much they are also booking them for their wedding :) They made our first dance so special and absolutely nailed the song, so much so we liked there version more than the original, I got in touch with Paddy from The Players and asked if it was possible for them to record there version of the song so I could give it to my wife for her Birthday - a few weeks later and I have the recording - Sara is going to LOVE it!!! If you are looking for a band then I honestly can't recommend them enough, They were easy to book, answered our questions promptly, came to the venue and set up with no issues, played great music all night and got our guests on the dance floor...they smashed it. "The guys delivered a fantastic performance, with great chemistry and a natural, engaging stage presence. They interacted well with the group they were performing to creating a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. Whilst a small setup, their sound was full, balanced, and polished—making them a standout addition to the evening. We had a fab time!"

"Just to say a big thank you to the band for the fantastic ceilidh at Clare and Tony’s wedding in Anglesey. It was a real hit and everyone absolutely loved it. The music was great and the calling was excellent. It was the first ceilidh for quite a few people and you were very patient! It was a lovely atmosphere and loads of fun – a great end to a wonderful day. Perfect band for a wedding!"

"WOW! Platinum Band... There are literally no words to describe how amazing and talented this band is. Claire is absolutely fantastic and so kind and helped us so much with organising our day and being so useful. Everyone at the wedding said how amazing the band at our wedding was- we wouldn't have wanted anyone else. Their performances had everyone dancing and smiling. They truy made our wedding for us. Claire also helped us with background music and kindly set up a lot earlier so that everything was ready for when it was time for dancing. They are so accommodating and friendly... would 11/10 times recommend these guys!!!"

"We took a bit of a risk booking the band having not seen them live and only listened to clips online. It was the best risk I've ever taken. If you think they sound good via audio or video clips then I can assure you they're 10 times better live. The band were extremely accommodating and well managed. Mitch was excellent in answering all questions we had prior to the event. From first song to last the band were amazing, even the music they provide during the interval and as they pack up was perfect. The mix of songs from the set list was perfect, the dance floor was full all night and people were chanting for more at the end. It made a perfect day even more special. We would recommend them to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys, you were amazing. "

"We just wanted to say an enormous THANK YOU to you and Alex for the fantastic set you did on Saturday at Ben’s 40’s Themed 40th Birthday Party! You were so friendly and helpful that many of the guests assumed you were friends of Ben’s. Well you are now! Your voices and Alex’s guitar playing were really lovely and the choice of songs was spot on. I really appreciated the way you took charge of any announcements and navigated the events during the evening without ever taking over, so that it took away any stress from us. Thanks also for enabling Izzy to use the backing tracks so that she could sing some special songs for Ben .You both really helped to make the evening such an enjoyable event for all involved. Lots of people commented on the music and wanted to know who you were, and the staff at the venue said how much they had enjoyed the music and the atmosphere it created. I know Ben will be in touch with you soon, but once again thank you both so much again for helping to make the event ‘go with a swing’ so that we all had a really lovely evening. "Wow! There is not a lot more to say. This band are not only professional, playing a whole variety of music, but they are fun and really enter upon the spirit of the party. They had everyone dancing, singing and having a laugh - exactly what a pert is all about. So I repeat, WOW!"

"Just to say that the band were quite simply brilliant at our Christmas function. Sam promised early doors that they were just going to 'keep on rocking'. From the first song to the last, they did exactly that. I have never seen so many people dance for so long. The quality, the set, the tunes were all spot on for the audience and I would not for one second hesitate to recommend them to anyone, corporate or private. Their versatility was amazing. Please thank them all again for a great night. We will plan to have them again soon!"

"FOB gave a fantastic performance at our Cambridge college's Burns Night Ceilidh. The band sounded brilliant and the caller [Ollie Simons] was very clear. They were a pleasure to work with, and a joy to dance to; the students had a wonderful time. Can't recommend them highly enough!"

"AMAZING duo who really were the icing on the cake for our outdoor garden party after a christening. The mardy johnny depps were easy to deal with beforehand, professional with great communication. Their set really set the tone and and was perfect. Everyone commented on how wonderful they were to listen to and i heard several times 'isn't her voice amazing' Thank you both "

"We took our family on the Star Legend in February and The Upbeats Duo, Rachel & Peter, were a highlight of our trip. We love their sound and choice of repertoire! They are simply fabulous!"
