"Kellys Heroes performed a Ceilidh and played some of their amazing songs at our wedding in March 2019. We had previously seen them perform in Nottingham at the City Arts Folk Proms, and had initially only intended to have a Ceilidh, though after hearing Tony's vocals, we knew that our wedding guests would love to hear them as well! The entire band are so friendly, helpful and accommodating, and were amazing at our wedding. We highly recommend you to book Kellys Heroes for any events you may have - they will not disappoint! Everyone loved them at our wedding, and are still talking about them!"

"Last weekend i met the group at the Christmas Party of an Alzheimer care home. i was fascinated by the bright positive energy they spread. Musically there was everything from gentle soulful to vibrant upbeat, acoustic and yet virtuosic and strong - at the end the whole ward was singing and dancing along to Balkan music... "

"This is the second year running we have used the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band for our St Patrick''s party, and they were a huge hit again. We had our biggest turnout for an event, making it a very successful fundraiser. A big part of this was people wanting to join in with the Ceilidh fun again, having experienced the band last year. The music and calling were excellent, and the dances were great fun. It was great to try some new dances too. Our guests were already talking about next year as they left!"

"We booked Henry Marten's Ghost for our Wedding reception on the 2nd May 2015. Needless to say they were absolutely cracking! For over 2 hours the walls were bubbling with the set they played with reels, jigs & renowned ballads being the order of the day. Patrick even learned a very touching version of Stand by Me for our opening song! Our guests knew they were being entertained by a class act who've opened for the Dubliners no less during their successful careers. Our only lamentation is that we didn't book them to come on again but thankfully, there's always another celebration coming up on life's horizon! So, if you want your reception, reunion, barn dance or party to take off, I'd gladly recommend handing the microphone & stage over to Henry Marten's Ghost."

The caller was very good and hit the right note, very professional and special thanks to them all for making every effort to get to the venue after the snow drifts and icy roads caused major problems for many. "Heard 'The Shooglers' play at a fantastic wedding I was photographing, well I was so desperate to join in the dancing - truly fantastic music ;-) I love the one you did with the mix of Pink Floyd - Another Brick in the Wall - was amazing! Tapping my foot and itching to dance - best music at a wedding I’ve ever heard!"
