"It's No' Reel performed at our wedding at the Albert Halls in Stirling in November. After hearing such great things about them, we actually changed the date of our wedding to ensure they would be free to play! They didn't disappoint on the day. With a mixture of Scottish, English and international guests we thought we would have some ceilidh followed by a disco, but in the end everyone was having such a good time that we just kept on with the ceilidh. From my seven year old nephew to an octogenarian great-aunt, everyone was up dancing all the time. And once the day was over we had a really fun Go Pro video to watch back. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend It's No' Reel to anyone wanting a memorable evening."

"We booked Americana for our anniversary Barn Dance which was attended by around 200 people. They had a caller who helped everyone learn the steps. It was a great evening! We had the opportunity to discuss what was wanted directly with the band prior to the event which was helpful and reassuring. The band subsequently put together a great set with a fabulous selection of songs which were performed brilliantly. The interval music was also well received. We had nothing but positive feedback from our guests, so a successful evening! Very happy with our choice of band for this special event."

"Your singing and playing was absolutely wonderful, and created exactly the right mood during our wedding breakfast. I was very impressed by your professionalism – you dressed the part, set up quickly and efficiently, and made sure that the whole day was stress free."

"What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

"The ceilidh was the highlight of our wedding. Despite us running very late on the day, Blue Jewel were extremely professional and adaptable, and put on a stunning ceilidh. The atmosphere they created was exactly what we hoped for. Everyone joined in, everyone laughed, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. Thank you to you all- a real evening to remember! :)"

"“We were absolutely delighted with Beskydy’s commitment, talent, and performance. They learned a piece specifically for my daughter’s wedding march, and their repertoire perfectly matched our guest list for a Jewish wedding which was also attended by family from the Balkans”"

"Thanks to Davie and the rest of the band for making our wedding night one we will never forget!! We had heard so many good reviews and they didn't do you justice. Easily the best ceilidh band we have ever seen! "

"Great choice of material. Mat Walklate’s harmonica playing is astoundingly proficient throughout and Matt Fahey’s vocal take on My Bonny Boy Is Young is a stand out track. It gets my vote for album of the year."

"What a brilliant evening we had with Balor leading the music. Within one song they had an extra band member from the audience. A duo was perfect for a home venue and such talented, lovely people. Would have every confidence to recommend them. Thank you so much. "

"We wanted something a bit different than the standard "background music band" for our annual Christmas drinks party: Good Habits hit the spot perfectly. They did a mix of jazz, pop covers, originals and folk tunes that everyone enjoyed. They were supposed to be background music but by the end it turned into a mini concert as everyone just wanted to listen!"

"I was very fortunate to see The John Lennon Experience on Sat 3rd Aug at The Vic in Swindon! They played a range of John Lennon classics/hits as well as some great Beatles songs. Not only does 'John' sound like John Lennon he also looks like him! Very talented musicians, thoroughly enjoyed the act! I would definitely recommend them, a must see band! A fantastic treat for John Lennon/Beatles fans!"
