"Having worked with Danny previously in the theatre, I contacted him knowing of his professionalism and talent as a vocalist and musician. What did take me by surprise was his attention to detail and preparation, as he crafted some beautiful cover-songs for our day, which really was special. His relaxed charm, soulful voice, and spirited guitar-play all were perfection. The Missus & I could not recommend Danny highly enough - thank you, Sir! David T x"

"I recently organised a surprise 40th birthday barn dance for my wife’s 40th birthday. Kip whom I was in contact with prior to the event was helpful and a breeze to deal with and when it came to the event itself Kip and the band were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much the three of you, you really made it a fun, hilarious and quality evening that we will always remember. So many people who’d never been to a barn dance have since said to me they are converts, and those that already had experience of ceilidhs extolled your virtues too. These things can hinge on the caller and Kip gauged the crowd perfectly - really making sure we all had a fantastic evening. Thank you so much again, would not hesitate to recommend or book again. Please let us know when you play at Plympton Guildhall next, we will definitely be there. Best Greg"

"Funk With Us were extraordinary from start to finish. Both Lilac and her partner Remko were very helpful in the lead up to our Wedding and made a huge effort to understand what we wanted from the evening and how to tailor the sets towards our own music tastes. On the night itself, we couldn't have been more impressed. Lilac set the tone for the entire night and really made our Wedding everything we'd dreamed it to be. If you want to have an evening of amazing music led by a highly talented and exciting performer to wow you and your guests, then you really must choose the Funk With Us! I cannot wait to use them again in the future for big life events."

Booked them for our wedding and could not fault them, they showed up in plenty of time and had lots of our guests up and dancing including our 2 year old 😂 lovely down to earth guys, would recommend it to anyone and hopefully will be able to book them again for future occasions. "Danny was great from the first point communication, really friendly and enthusiastic. We were in touch leading up to the event about the type of music we wanted and he very accommodating and made us feel totally at ease. He arrived with plenty of time and was very thorough in his set up and preparations. When he started he blew us away.... all the guests sang along and the atmosphere was fantastic. Danny was great with the guests and performed loads of requests..... his performance made our evening perfect.... Thank you Danny! "
