"I am writing to thank you so much for providing the amazing band, Funk With Us to perform at our Chamber Awards Thursday 18th November at Westenhanger Castle. The dance floor was full from the start of the band playing to the very last number with shouts of ‘more’ from the audience after the last one was played. Funk With Us added another level to our most successful Awards evening yet and we have had so many compliments from the guests. Every member of the band was brilliant from the 2 singers who invited the dancers to sing with them on vocals, the saxophonist mingling and the solo guitar performance, drums, bass and keys. "Davie, At last I am getting a minute to thank you and the guys for an excellent evening playing at our Silver Wedding at Meldrum House. The music was fabulous, everything we expected and more! All our guests have been telling us how much they enjoyed the band, even those not energetic enough to dance say that they very much enjoyed listening to you play. We were well and truly shoogled and I know I wasn’t the only one with aching muscles the next day! Great fun, thanks for helping to make our special occasion a huge success, we all had a fantastic time. The only complaint we had was that the party finished too soon!"

Being asked to play for a wake is one of the greatest honours a musician can receive. But to be so welcomed and looked after on the day by such wonderful people is a true blessing. We were immeasurably glad to get to meet Carol and her delightful family and friends, and through them, get to know a little more about the incredible Eileen. "Danny was fantastic, we had a range of friends and family at our party from Ages 8-80 and I noticed them all either dancing or tapping their feet at sometime during the evening. Danny voice has a wonderful tone and great to listen to and his performance greatly enhanced our event, I would have no hesitation recommending him to others."

The caller,Kip, was excellent at engaging with the dancers and gave very clear instructions to follow and they are good musicians. Steve was very helpful when organising the event and quick to respond to any communication. They are a very professional group and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. "Wow, what a sound you have! We thoroughly enjoyed having you perform at our wedding last week and all our guests had a great time. So much dancing and fun was had by all, and literally everyone commented on what a wonderful choice we made in inviting you as our guest band. Weddings don't always go to plan and in our case a crucial lead broke on our ipad for the party music, and Kellys Heroes came to the rescue and very kindly donated their lead so we could finish off the party. Such talented lovely people so I very much recommend Kellys Heroes and we are looking forward to seeing you perform at another event in the future!!"
