"Hi Fiddlestix, Just wanted to thank you and your band very much for a most successful Macmillan Cancer Support Barn Dance event last night. Your band and your caller Geoff kept everyone fully involved all night long and it was a very enjoyable evening in the knowledge that essential money was raised to help people and their families affected by cancer. £1300 was raised last night after all expenses and we feel that was a decent amount. "I booked the It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band to play at a Burns event I was hosting in Scotland for an international group of friends, mostly based in Germany. The band quickly gauged the experience of the group and provided a selection of music that ensured everyone enjoy themselves dancing. The dance floor was always packed despite it being most of the guests' first ceilidh. On the practical side they also turned up on time, set up and packed up quickly and without fuss, and coped with our frequent schedule changes on the night with a smile. I would strongly recommend them"

"Thank you so much to Kelly’s Heroes for performing at our wedding evening reception. They were friendly and helpful from the beginning of the booking process right through to after the wedding. All our guests loved them, they provided a great lively atmosphere, and encouraged everyone to get involved. We had guests who go to ceilidhs regularly, and some who had never been to one before. The ceilidh was suitable for everyone, and everyone said how much fun they had. One of the band members taught us the moves to a first dance ceilidh, which we then demonstrated so that everyone could get involved. It was a slower dance and an ideal start with to get everyone involved and comfortable with the dancing. We went for the six person band with two song sets and a ceilidh, and this was ideal for an evening do. Kelly’s Heroes played a great range of tunes which everyone enjoyed tapping along to even if they weren’t ready for a dance yet! We really hope to see them play again in the near future, and we definitely recommend them for events. "

The evening was a great success and I received several comments on how good the band was, and their ability to get people onto the dance floor and then of course keeping them there. "100% book this band! We had so many compliments from guests asking where we found them. They sound amazing, get everyone dancing and we had the most perfect atmosphere in the evening. They are really responsive and organised in the planning and run up to the wedding so that part was also a breeze."

"Dave & Rich were the BEST addition to our wedding day. They arrived on time, set up with no fuss and were super flexible around our timings with speeches etc. They brought so much fun, laughter and merriment to our day and we couldn't have asked for more. Such incredible music, we would book again in a heartbeat! Really lovely guys too."
