"Lilac and the band were the perfect choice for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. She was a pleasure to work with and was happy to tailor a set to suit our needs. The band learned a number of songs especially for us, which was amazing. They have excellent equipment that ensured they were able to tailor the sound to the space perfectly - not too loud, not too quiet. Lilac and co are great performers and got everyone dancing, including some usually-sulky teenagers. They made our daughter feel special and she had an amazing time. I can't recommend them highly enough."

"We booked Oysland for my son's Bar Mitzvah. They were absolutely superb and played exactly the music and the style that we wanted. They got everyone up dancing and created a very authentic atmosphere. Both my guests and I had a wonderful time. I would recommend them to anyone planning a Jewish function!"

"The band was brilliant. Could not recommend enough. the choice of music, the energy they brought to the event was great. Very easy to work with, and very professional. Sound quality was great, even though the venue was quite small with hard surfaces, and the band did their homework about setting up and worked with us. A excellent choice, and would defo use them again. "

"Each year our section hold a rally. Each year we visit a different location alternating between the UK and Europe. It was my turn to organise a weeks rally in the UK, and I chose the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown as our base. We needed some form of entertainment for our Gala Night. Our group are in the in main middle fifties and some over eighty so the last thing we need was a rock group. I had some opposition when I suggested a Folk group but I prevailed and have to say that tracking down a band was in the area was extremely difficult. Typing a search in Google for local folk groups resulted in names almost everywhere except in the West Country. Eventually I contacted Blue Jewel and Steve convinced me that they could adapt to our needs. Every single person enjoyed the groups performance, there were 62 people there and almost every single one said how much they enjoyed the group. As the organiser I was greatly impressed by the way they accommodated our requirements and we had a brilliant night. Thank you Blue Jewel Chris. "Kip and his crew were excellent from the word go. We incorporated our first dance into the ceilidh and added bridal party and parents. This was excellent, Kip talked us through it as a group and away we went. Our special moment was great fun for us and all of our guests. They did a great job of involving everybody old and young and all our guests said they had a great time. It was good fun and a great laugh. We would highly recommend them to anybody. "

"Dear Davie and all the band, just to say the very biggest of thank you for Saturday night - you were just brilliant, everything and more that we could have wanted from our wedding band, and we have had so many comments and compliments from everyone who was there about you - I have a feeling many of them will remember when organising their future events as you guys just take ceilidh to a whole new level. We had an absolute ball reeling our way round, especially for 'Another Brick in the Dashing White Sergeant', and the Cumberland reel was utterly Epic - not one we had in fact danced before but definitely the best of the night!! And had so much fun with the rock side - all the family were up and going for their favourites. Hope you had fun and managed to squeeze in a bacon roll and some cake - and a beer or two!! Thanks again! "

"We hired this band 'Barn With Us' for our Company Summer Party 2 weeks ago, The weather had been horrendous that morning right up until they arrived! Not only did they bring the sunshine with them, they also brought the PARTY! They are so good! They had people up line dancing and joining in, everyone had so much fun. Remko and Lilac make such a good team, and the other band members support them well too. We would definitely not only recommend them, but we would also book them again ourselves. 10 out of 10 for you guys. 💜"

"Open Freeway were absolutely fantastic. They honestly made our wedding day. Communication was excellent throughout and they really took time to listen to us and give suggestions for the day, all of which were spot on. They were really flexible and even did us an acoustic set outside to kick the music off as the weather was nice and we had a festival-themed wedding. I was soooo impressed on the day, every song was played brilliantly and our guests were raving about the music. They played such a great range of songs and made the sets really fun for everyone. The dance floor was full all night. On top of all of that, they were all just so lovely and such a joy to have as part of the day. We could not fault them and would recommend them to anyone. I cannot thank you guys enough for how amazing you were! "
