"Big Skies played at our annual golf trip to Ullesthorpe. Everyone present were very impressed with their performance. They began with more laid back , country songs whilst the guests were finishing off food etc. Fantastic musicianship, talented guitar playing and exceptional harmonies. I had chosen one or two songs which were a little less known by most people present , namely “Battle of Evermore”, and Dylan’s “Oh Sister”, and their renditions were captivating. Later in the evening the tempo was raised and it was great to see so many on the dance floor. Overall, a fantastic evening had by all thanks to Big Skies! I would strongly recommend them if you were thinking of hiring an acoustic band for a special event. "

"I recently booked a duo from the band to play at my mum’s wedding in Bolton. They were brilliant. I would recommend this group to anyone who wishes to make their wedding a special event and really liven up the evening. Don’t bother with a DJ, what a waste of money. There were only 40 people at the evening reception, but Shamus and Danny really livened up the group and got them up singing and dancing. I only wish I had another event up and coming, so I could book them again."

"We had a wonderful time at our wedding with Chris and the Rejigged band. The musicians and caller were very skilled and catered for a range of tastes and abilities. Throughout the run up to the wedding, they were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful, making the planning process much easier. Thank you to all involved. "I just wanted to put on record my appreciation of Tim Barton’s efforts and musicianship during my 60th Birthday party celebration last Saturday night. Tim provided a really atmospheric soundtrack to the night, from the Beatles to Bowie to Sinatra. Even Billy Bragg got a look in! It was a perfect accompaniment to the party and Tim coped brilliantly, performing well over the general hubbub of many people who hadn’t seen each other for ages. I would happily book Tim again. "

"A big thank you to Blue Jewel for helping make my big birthday party so memorable. I have had loads of messages from my friends saying how much they loved the band's music and the dancing. Steve was an excellent lead at calling the dances, making sure I was happy and that the dances were fun and suited beginners as well as those more experienced."

"Lilac, Remko and all of the band are simply brilliant!! Wholeheartedly recommended! We hired Funk With Us to play at our wedding party. From the very first enquiry Lilac was super friendly, very considerate of what we wanted, flexible and always there to answer our questions and offer good suggestions on the song lists, set-up, etc. And the performance on the night was amazing!! High quality sound and musicianship, but more importantly the whole band did a fantastic job in creating a fun party vibe which got everyone dancing for hours. All of our guests commented for days afterwards how great they were! Thank you Funk With Us, you guys rock!!! ?"

"A ceilidh was the perfect way to kick off the evening festivities at our wedding. We loved seeing guests of all ages getting involved, having a laugh, getting it right and wrong but always with enthusiasm! Our caller Adam was so energetic and lots of guests commented on how good he was. We had such fun and would recommend the excellent band for a memorable experience"

"Cannot recommend The Shamrock Experience highly enough. Firstly, just a wonderfully good fun and high energy act for people of all ages and abilities. I had 100 guests and all of them were up on the dancefloor, footloose, fancy-free and having the time of their lives. So much joy and laughter and no inhibitions. Ben kept us all in check marvellously! I have had so many comments since about what a wonderful band it was and how it was such a brilliant party. Behind the scenes and in the run up, Ben and the guys were helpful, informative, communicated clearly and in good time, and made the set up and delivery of the event itself so easy that I didn't have to worry about anything at all. Would definitely book again / would definitely recommend. Thanks so much for a really memorable night."

"We booked Oscar and Dom for our wedding ceremony and reception. They agreed to travel down for the day and also learnt some song requests specifically for the day and played throughout the afternoon during the drinks reception. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't recommend them enough and if we ever have an event in need of musicians again, I know who to ask for!"
