"We chose southwest band because they where a brilliant array of collective music choices and we especially loved the rock music choices. They had presence and the front man was brilliant at getting everyone up on the dance floor and getting the crowd going. They were brilliant just wish we could get married again so we could have them again at our wedding but we shall have to go and see them instead. Thank you from Rachel and David Burridge x"

"I could not have hoped for a better performer at my birthday party than the amazing Sharlette and her brilliant guitarist Sam. She is an incredible singer, with such a classy voice and gave a wonderful performance. So many of my guests commented on how good the duo were. Sharlette was also a pleasure to work with from our first phone call to the party itself. She could not have been more professional, helpful or more friendly! "Dear Jess, Thank you from me and Mat!!! You and your band have been absolutely fantastic - we really enjoyed having you sing and play so beautifully and for being so flexible with timing. EVERYONE loved you and the band - they all said you have the most fabulous/ stunning voice and presence. The "EVERYONE" includes all the chefs (they were boogying whilst getting the meal out), the floor staff, and my neighbours who were still working in the garden and didn't quite make over to dinner. Thank you also for singing the 2 songs I requested - my brother (the one who led the speeches) was very touched as they were for him and thought you sang them beautifully! "After viewing lots of different bands on Youtube, we went to see Soul Funk Classic in a bar in Accrington. The music was excellent and although the stage wasn't big enough to have all 8 members, it was enough to persuade us to book them for our daughter's wedding. We live in West Yorkshire and agreed a very reasonable price including travel for the full 8 piece band. The music was excellent and appealed to a wide range of ages, playing classics that everyone knew, such as music from films The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and artists such as Aretha Franklin. They played 2 longs sets and had all the guests dancing: they were even asked for encores. The band were very friendly and integrated themselves into the event to help create a memorable occasion. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend them for your event!"

Your band was incredibly accomplished and we were delighted that you were able to take on the Argentine Tango piece by Canaro that we had specially requested as our first dance , with absolute gusto.
