"What an amazing band! I’ve heard bands which are great at the Scottish ceilidh stuff but not very good at any other styles. I’ve heard bands which are great at pop/rock/country/indie covers but couldn’t play a ceilidh dance to save their lives. You guys are amazing! You can play all the Scottish ceilidh stuff AND make it rocky AND play all these other styles from pop to rock to country to whatever! Amazing! "

"Jess was so great and professional. She had never sung with the Valentinos before, but it looked like she had been performing with them for years. She arrived on time, looked amazingly beautiful and added class to the event. I would strongly recommend her for any event. Denise "

"Mambo jamboree /Pete and Frankie made the night with upbeat party songs for our Mexican themed hen party. They are are Super talented , playing many instruments and percussion throughout the show . Very friendly and lively keeping everyone up dancing and singing . Can not recommend enough ."

"Picking a band for your wedding is always nerve wracking, but without a doubt we couldn’t have picked a better group if we’d tried!! The music was spot on, the guys all looked the part (which went down perfectly with our tipi theme) and the dance floor was full! What more could you ask for?! We had the full band and, having not actually heard the demo beforehand, they exceeded our expectations. They also learnt one of the songs from the bride’s Dad’s glam rock days to surprise him which went down a storm! Communication leading up to the day was great and George even took the time out to come and find us on the day to chat in between sets! Don’t think twice! Book these guys, they are a fantastic group and we would have them again in a heartbeat!"

"We got married at The Ned in July and booked The Romantics to kick off our Champagne reception, we couldn't have asked for a better way to start the celebrations - all the guest were up dancing and singing immediately, just having the BEST time! They are all fantastic musicians and such good fun. Prior to the wedding communication was fantastic, very professional... simply great guys to work with. Don't think about it... Book them! "I saw Unwritten Duo locally supporting Alfie Boe, they stepped in at the last minute when the original support was unable to perform. They were excellent, beautiful vocals and brilliant guitar, they were a lovely bonus for the evening! I am now looking out for more local performances."

"Thank you to The Northern Reel Collective who played at our mum's 60th birthday ceilidh last weekend. It was a fantastic evening and everyone had a great time! The music was excellent and the caller did a great job of keeping everyone in check. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others."

"Joel & Ben provided the entertainment at my 50th birthday party, which was a black tie event in a boutique hotel. The boys arrived early, were well prepared and were setup in no time. As well as being talented & skilled musicians, they read the crowd well and were truly fantastic. Both on the night and in the days following, everyone was raving about Joel & Ben. I unreservedly recommend them"
