"We were lucky enough to have Jack sing at our wedding. He sang our chosen song as I walked down the aisle and it was honestly perfect. Obviously his talent goes without saying but he learnt a version of the song that we had chosen without any problems and delivered it so beautifully. We felt very lucky that he was available to perform for us at the most special moment of our day."

"Eccentric Pony were outstanding. Prior to our wedding, they communicated with both us and our venue to ensure a smooth set up. On arrival, Jimmy greeted and congratulated us before starting to set up. The band learned and played our first dance which sounded perfect and will be a lasting memory. The band were incredible all night and kept everybody dancing - even personalising a song which was a highlight of the night! We have had numerous compliments from guests and couldn’t be more grateful to the guys! Thank you all again!"

"An absolutely fantastic band. Great guys, great set list & fully engaged with the guests with not a space left on the dance floor throughout both sets. Blew us away with the talent from guitar solo to a singer pulling off every note seamlessly. 100% recommended! "

"A big thank you to Ed & Oliviya who played at my wife’s 50th birthday party on Saturday 11th November and helped to make it such a special evening, from the initial booking to the the party they we very professional and always quick to respond to emails. On the evening a lot of our guest commented how fantastic the music was, beautiful voices, great songs and both being the most loveliest of people you could meet. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Simon’s Wedding – April 2025 Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio performed at our Wedding reception. The music was fantastic and Alan the caller talked our guests through the dances with patience and wit. Our guests included some serious Scottish dancing enthusiasts together with a lot of enthusiastic amateurs, complete beginners and no hopers – all of whom had an absolute blast! We would highly recommend the band and a couple of our guests made enquiries about booking them for upcoming events, which speaks for itself. Thank you for providing us with fantastic memories filled with joy and laughter."

"‘We had a Christmas party like no other! Due to the pandemic, the whole event was streamed live to our guests. Holly jolly Christmas stepped in with seamless professionalism, despite the fact that this was rather out of the ordinary and probably not what they were used to - they entertained our guests just as energetically as if we were all together in person. We all had a fun time and hope we can get together in person for the next event and see/hear this band in the flesh!"
