"Laura Moon performed at our daughter's christening and was absolutely brilliant! Her varied set list is fab and her voice is incredible! Our guests kept saying how amazing she was, we will be recommending her to everyone and booking her again in the future! "

"Simon was very easy to work with – and flexible on what the band could play. At very short notice they had to add some traditional bar mitzvah music to their repertoire, which they played very well. Also with almost no notice, Simon had to take over the role of MC during the later part of the evening, as our MC was slightly indisposed. He did that very well. The music was mainly dance music that most people could enjoy, either dancing or just listening to. We all loved it including my 20-year-old nephew who is studying piano at Trinity. Guests were dancing the night away and the music really added to the joyous atmosphere. And the sound level was kept at a reasonable level, so those who did not want to dance could still talk. We received lots of compliments on our choice of band. I definitely recommend them."

"I booked the Highball Heavies for my 70th birthday party. They were totally and absolutely brilliant. I was able to choose my set list from a very extensive list of songs plus they performed a couple of songs from my wish list. They had the entire room dancing. Over 100 people from 1 to 95 years of age. They were totally amazing. One of the best evenings of my life. Thank you so much Aaron and co. You are fantastic. I can absolutely recommend the high standards of this band and would book them myself again without hesitation."

"In late May (24) we had the privilege of Mark’s playing at our wedding. It must rank as one of Mark’s smaller gigs as it was at the Bakewell Registry Office where the congregation consisted of my wife and I, our two witnesses, the Registry Office team and a photographer. We wanted a special occasion, just for us and Mark’s magical playing gave us exactly that. Ahead of the event, he asked for any requests for his repertoire for the day and such is his versatility he easily moved between the multiple styles we threw his way. Mark arrived ahead of the ceremony and within a couple of minutes he was set up and playing. A very personable man, it was a pleasure to have his company and his wonderful playing. "Moon River were amazing for my baby’s birthday yesterday and it was something so different. They played jazz, theatre and pop music of my choosing from their repertoire and then lots of nursery rhymes. All ages were catered for; their communication was great and they turned up early to set up. Highly recommend."

"The Covered were incredible for our wedding! The venue unfortunately had a power cut a few songs into the bands set and they very kindly stayed on much later than we had originally planned so they could finish their set once the power came back on! They saved our wedding evening and we are extremely grateful and can't thank them enough. Would highly recommend. "

"I would just like to thank you all for playing at Louisa and Martin's wedding reception last Friday. The music was great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dancing. I felt you had the right balance of ceilidh and disco music. Like all good events it all passed too quickly! We will certainly be recommending you too anyone looking for a ceilidh band in the future. Extra thanks to the fiddle player (Aaron?) for being at two places in the one day!!"
