"The Shooglers were one of the best Ceilidh Bands I have had the pleasure of attending. They were amazing, the performance on the night was great, they were able to gauge the crowd and manage to keep all involved. The communication and assistance with regard to the first dance was excellent. Honesty was great with regard to what they could and couldn't play as a first dance. Honestly one of the best bands. Would recommend them to anyone. Did themselves proud as it is a tough thing to do to trust a band with your wedding, but they were amazing. "

"Kate was wonderful. Very helpful in guidance on selecting pieces of music. She had a wide range in her repertoire and supplemented this with 3 new tracks that we particularly wanted. The music from the harp filled the Great Hall and was a perfect fit for the setting. Many guests complimented Kate personally on the music. Absolutely fabulous. We would definitely recommend Kate to others."

"Flux Ensemble was phenomenal at our wedding! Their music turned our venue into a dreamy fairytale. They played during the ceremony and the reception. They have an endless repertoire! What also stood out for us was Martin's friendly and easygoing nature, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The compliments from our guests kept pouring in, and we hope to get another chance to hear them play again. A heartfelt thank you to the talented Flux Ensemble for making our day truly unforgettable!"

"The band went down extremely well. They were there on time. They were set up. They wouldn't take the fee off me until after they had played. Charlotte and the guys were a great addition to the day. They filled the gap between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast perfectly. I had numerous guests asking who and where I got the band from and I told them it was through your good self. I hope something comes of this. They are splendid."

"Lisa did the music in the church for our wedding. I gave her a list of songs I wanted, some of them she didn't know but was willing to learn for our big day. She was very helpful at filling in the bits I had neglected and selected some beautiful pieces of music. Although the day is a bit of a blur to me, everyone still comments on how amazing the music was. She also sang our first dance with the band which was very special. I think the band would have kept her all night! I'd highly recommend her. "

"The Singing Waiters were amazing! Even when we suggested that they dress up in beekeeping outfits, they played along and were able to ad-lib to keep the surprise - they were just brilliant! They also sounded incredible - very professional and all communication was really good. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them. "

"We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends. "They were fantastic! We hired them for a 40th birthday celebration in a big country hall and they totally blew us away. The communication was great and it was really easy to make all the arrangements beforehand. They were really flexible with our needs too. Their repertoire was so fun and kept the audience dancing for the whole time. They performed some great New Orleans style songs that fitted in with us really well. Two of the drummers performed on stilts when they came back on which everyone enjoyed. Everyone loved it and are still buzzing from a few weeks ago. I couldn't rate them higher."
