"‘We had a Christmas party like no other! Due to the pandemic, the whole event was streamed live to our guests. Holly jolly Christmas stepped in with seamless professionalism, despite the fact that this was rather out of the ordinary and probably not what they were used to - they entertained our guests just as energetically as if we were all together in person. We all had a fun time and hope we can get together in person for the next event and see/hear this band in the flesh!"

"Excellent performance from Jeremy. Good mix of material and sung quite beautifully. Members traditionally can be slow to appreciate an artist and to offer feedback about them but in Jeremy's case it was 'When is he coming back?' And he will !!"

"We’ve had a good few bands at Bearwood Lakes events over the years, and when it came to my Captain’s Day it was my turn to make the booking! I picked Hopwood 5 and have to say they absolutely smashed it, comfortably the best band we’ve had there!! Great musicians, an up-beat playlist, and a fantastic way to round off a memorable day for me! I have no doubt they’ll be back at some point! Book them, you won’t regret it!"

"I hired Laura to play at my wedding. She was very helpful and communicative the whole time. She has an extensive song list and is happy to take requests! For the wedding we requested a few songs that were not on her list and she gave us consistent updates on her progress of learning them. We were uncertain about how some songs would sound on the piano, so she reassured us on how these were going in her practice. The final result ended up being great on the day! Laura’s music really left an impression on me and my wedding guests. I could hear her doing warm-ups and playing for the guests while I was waiting to walk down the aisle and found her playing to be very calming. During the ceremony all of the songs came out perfectly and created a great ambiance! I’m very grateful for all of her hard work and would highly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for an event pianist."

"Donaghue Quartet were a fantastic addition to our company's festive event in Birmingham. Prior to the event, we were able to indicate the songs we wanted and the running order of these. On the day, they arrived early for set-up and completed their 2 sets. Our event attendees loved them and they were able to reach all corners of the room with their voices only. I've now passed on their details to other teams in our company and hope to use them again for a future event. Would definitely recommend booking them!"

"This quartet performed at our wedding this weekend and I have to say - they were brilliant. The range of music they have, the communication, the patience they had with our little one - not to even mention the fact they perfectly played away during our drinks and meal along with the ceremony, I'm so glad we hired them. "Straight Up not only had the dance floor packed all night, but the whole area around the dance floor too! Jeremy has an unbelievable voice and performance style - it feels wrong to describe them as a wedding band because they are just an incredibly talented group of musicians who happen to be able to sing brilliant covers with their own stamp. They were also an absolute delight to deal with throughout and took the 1.5 hour delay in starting as a result of dinner overrunning in their stride. Thank you for making our wedding day so special, and for giving us so many wonderful memories. "

"This band is a class act. Joanne has an unique voice that if heard once, you will instantly recognise. She has a great range and sometimes sings in an operatic tone too. Her husband James is a great guitarist and singer too. They compliment each other and are fun to watch. You will not be disappointed."

"Laura is amazing from the initial enquiry though to booking, Laura is very clear on messages and you know what is going be played, I asked for two songs for my wedding entrance and they were sent to me so I had a clear knowledge of what was going to be played. Highly recommend!!"
