Review Centre: Christmas Bands

"We recruited Laura to play for my sisters wedding. From the first communication she was really friendly and quick to respond to messages. Nothing was too much for Laura in terms of our requests (my sister had some specific pieces she wanted Laura to learn for the wedding). Laura was keen to please and sorced the pieces we’d requested and also suggested other repertoire she could perform. The tone of the repertoire was perfect! It was just the atmosphere we wanted for the wedding! Laura arrived early in preparation for the wedding, she was dressed professionally and looked just the part. She was warm and friendly when chatting to us and guests on the day. I cannot recommend Laura enough! Thank you!"

"Incredible band including brass instruments which added to the atmosphere. Fantastic singing and kept our guests entertained all night. Played a list of 90s music to dance to which all enjoyed. Thank you for a fantastic evening."

"I booked The Haystacks Band for my 50th Birthday Party as I wanted live music that would get everyone dancing! Rachel and her band did not disappoint and we had an amazing evening; I cannot recommend them highly enough! They helped create a great atmosphere and were genuinely lovely people to have at the party. I had taken a bit of a risk in booking the band without seeing them perform but I needn't have worried! From the first contact I had with Rachel, through to evening itself, I had every confidence that they were going to be as good as I'd hoped. The Haystacks Band play fun, upbeat music with passion and an unassuming enthusiasm. Everyone at my party has been telling me how much they enjoyed the band and they definitely made it a 50th to remember. Lovely people and fab musicians who were a fabulous find online!"

"Wow. I knew Lara was a very talented vocalist but she exceeded our expectations. The has the voice of an angel and we were all blown away. I’m confident my grandad heard the songs sang to him and Lara has provided us with a beautiful memory we shall treasure forever from a tough day. Right from the start of our communication Lara was just the right balance of professionalism but also approachable human with a really kind heart. No matter what question I had or request I made she always went above and beyond to make it heard and we can’t recommend or thank her enough. What a talented lady overall a kind human being with an angelic voice ."

"Hi Laura (and ladies). We just wanted to express our sincerest thanks for playing so beautifully at our wedding. When we first saw your video online, I got that special magical tingle. Hearing that one piece, which just happens to be my favourite, blew the competition out of the running. We must confess that when we got to the page showing the huge list of stars and productions our hearts sank a little, thinking we could never afford a quartet in your league. Excitement kicked back when we arrived at the prices page and we hammered out a booking email there and then. We loved the fusion of classical, pop, show tunes and the little quirky pieces - "Let's Go Fly a Kite" went down a storm. I was personally mesmerised watching Laura "live" the music - a true artist. "Crimson Sky performed at our wedding and were out of this world. The dance floor was packed all night long, an amazing range of songs from different eras. They arrived perfectly on time and set-up without any fuss. They are all lovely guys and slotted in to our day perfectly. We had endless people asking where we had found them, and the lead singer stole a few hearts! Thank you so much, an evening we will never forget."

"We had Volare DUO at our wedding yesterday, they were incredible! Fantastic communication before the event and Amazing on the night, can’t recommend them highly enough, if I could give them a 12 out of 10 i would, Ciro’s vocals are amazing, his personality shines throughout his performance, they delivered on every level, my guests were screaming for more ! They made our day, will be booking them again 100% !!!! "

"The Haystacks Band performed at our wedding party at The Pinkneys Arms in Pinkneys Green, and exceeded all expectations. Helpful, communicative, professional, talented, and above all fun! They have a great set list with a fantastic mix of classic and modern songs, but were also willing to adapt to our wishes - with a high proportion of cat lovers in the audience, their version of Smelly Cat (by Phoebe from Friends) went down especially well. They got everyone dancing, including me... and it's notoriously difficult to get me to dance! Brilliant feedback from all our friends too. Thanks so much Rachel & Haystacks Band for helping to make our party so enjoyable."
