"We had this lovely duo at our wedding and we could not have been happier with our choice of musicians. They are the loveliest people who were so accommodating for any music choices we wanted. Our guests loved them and they were very good at reading the room and knowing when to change the music up. They set themselves up in the hall and were so unproblematic. Matt added comedy when interacting with our guests and Jackie’s voice was just so beautiful. I could not recommend more. Thank you both for adding such incredible entertainment for our special day and being the easiest people to work with!"

"We’ve had really positive feedback from the event and it was a lovely family day. There were approximately 800 residents that came along and enjoyed the entertainment . The band were great and kept in contact with me throughout the day to see if what they were offering was suitable for the event. I was out and about taking photographs of the event and saw several residents having a dance to the brass band or clapping away to the tune. Overall we were really pleased with the entertainment provided and the band were all lovely."

"We booked South West Band for our wedding which happened a few weeks ago, and we could not recommend them enough! They are true professionals, bringing so much fun to the stage, not to mention talent. Our wedding was on a Monday, but they made it feel like a Saturday night with the level of energy they brought to our evening party! I'm also a singer, and they were gracious enough to let me join them for a few songs. It was so meaningful for me to be able to sing at my own wedding, and I'm endlessly grateful to them for the opportunity to do it! Their repertoire is extensive, and they were really open to hearing our song requests / songs we'd rather not have, meaning that the playlist felt really tailored to our tastes. We also booked their DJ package, which I would highly recommend if you want something a little different to the bog standard wedding hits you usually hear! They also played our first dance, a slowed down arrangement of a Lewis Capaldi track, which was just perfect. If you want a fun, lively party band with an incredible setlist, South West Band are a no-brainer."

"Sarah performed her ABBA tribute at my Birthday party and she was absolutely amazing. I chose the whole party package including her DJ set. She was fabulous and everyone enjoyed her act and commented on what a good and professional singer she was. Her range of ABBA songs got everyone dancing as well as her second set of old and modern classics suiting all tastes. She was very enjoyable, realistic (both in voice and outfits) and was excellent value for money. She arrived in plenty of time and remained completely professional despite having car problems on her long outward car jouney to me. Everyone at the party wanted her to continue performing but unfortunately the venue restrictions meant she had to finish by 11pm...such a shame! I can't wait to see her act again and some of my guests want her to perform at their functions in the future. Thank you so much Sarah for making my party very special and a great success, I do hope I can see you perform again soon....Brilliant! 11 out of 10! (Even people in the function next door to mine were popping in to my party because they thought you were so good!!) You were EXCELLENT!! Thanks again Matt xxx"

"The BV's helped make our party something special!! Live music certainly creates a lively, happy atmosphere which everyone enjoyed. They made everything easy, from pre-visit, to set up early and they were keen to fit with our choice of songs and our limited space. Carol has a perfect voice for her choice of jazzy blues – well worth their rate!"

"Our wedding was perfect and my wife and I owe a huge thank you to The Band for playing a big part in this. The rendition of the first dance was excellent, as was the whole set. Kept people dancing while not being overpowering and adjusted to late timing changes without difficulty. True pros and superstars."

"Just what we wanted. We loved our first dance and every song after! I was a sweaty mess by the end because of all the dancing. We got lots of compliments from guests about the band and at least one couple are planning on booking for an upcoming 40th birthday party. They were great guys and hope they enjoyed playing half as much as we enjoyed listening!"

"We had the best time! The guys were lovely and talented, as well as polite and efficient. The quality of the music was excellent and they got everyone moving on the dance floor. They also drove all the way to Suffolk from Liverpool - legends. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely book them again in the future."
