"I cannot say enough about how fantastic Danny was at our wedding. We were let down 3 weeks prior to our date, not for the first time, and I had lost faith in anyone being professional and reliable at this point. Even though Danny had a previous booking on our date, because ours was an earlier time slot, he willingly accepted our booking. I had a specific aisle song that I wanted playing outdoors and after waiting 18 months to hear it from our previous band, Danny had the first audio draft sent to me within 2 days. Upon hearing the first sentence of 7 words I was in tears, and knew that this was our version of the song. Danny was sat on a log stump outdoors with just his guitar playing to our guests as they arrived, and as I began walking through the field he sang the perfect rendition of our song. He then played another set to welcome our guests inside the tipi and everything was perfect. We didn't have a lot of time to chat on the day, but the music I could hear and the happiness of our guests said everything we needed to know. Danny is not only a very talented musician with a stunning live vocal, but also very down to earth but very professional. I'm not sure what event I will need entertainment for again in the future, but if I do, this is who I will be booking."

"‘Vicki and Jude provided the most beautiful music at our hand fasting ceremony. It suited our outdoor setting perfectly and our guests enjoyed many different styles of music - both classical and modern. They are a very friendly, professional duo who play so wonderfully - I would absolutely book again’. June 2022"

"We were put in touch with Lee through his agency and he immediately got in touch to establish what our event was, how many attending and the type of piano pieces we would like to hear. We were having a family party for 18 people at a rental house. It was my parents joint 90th birthday Lee arrived on time and played fantastically well for an hour and a half. I’m convinced he would have gone on longer but dinner was to be served. The variety of his catalogue was fantastic and he appealed to all the family. Initially he played a variety of pieces from his repertoire. Then requests starting coming in and he played virtually all of them by ear. What turned out to be one or two requests quickly turned in a request show and Lee’s ability to hear a song/ piece in his head play it was breathtaking. His improvisation was quite astonishing. If you are thinking of hiring a pianist for an event look no further. He was simply amazing. One really emotional performance and a good guy to boot!! "

"Might as well be swing performed at our wedding and they were fantastic - we couldn't recommend them enough! From the minute we sent an enquiry Chris listened to everything we wanted for our day - he was professional and also very accommodating. The band played both at our drinks reception and evening venue. They were able to adapt their music to the different atmospheres throughout the day. Lovely, instrumental music for the drinks reception to fun music covering modern songs to get everyone dancing for the evening do! They were able to play some songs we requested which was a great touch. The dance floor was never empty whilst they were playing and our guests haven't stopped commenting on how fantastic they were! Thank you might as well be swing! "

"Surrey Strings arrived promptly, set up with no fuss in 2 locations (church and wedding reception) and played beautifully. Many guests commented on the excellence of the performance and we were delighted by contribution made to the atmosphere of the day. The responsiveness to requests made in advance for particular pieces also helped set the perfect tone for the two distinct performances. Highly recommended."
