"I would like to start by saying thank you to The Scott Standards for a truly unforgettable performance at my 80th birthday celebration. From the moment they started performing they were more than spectacular. The lead singer’s voice was phenomenal and their song choices were spot on. They brought the entire celebration to life and all the guests told us they were the highlight of the party. If you’re looking for an incredible jazz ensemble, I highly recommend The Scott Standards!"

"Thanks again for yesterday – there was such a lovely atmosphere and the music and calling were great. Someone commented on it being ‘advanced barn dancing’ Smile Lots of people said how marvellous you all were. And also I really appreciated Ray’s (or is it Roy – sorry, forgotten) changes to the words to accommodate the range of dancers and couples and reducing the gender specificity – it felt much more accessible to me and there were also comments from others saying how much they appreciated being able to dance as two people and not be concerned about who was who or ‘dancing as’ etc."

"Hi Russ. A quick note to say we were delighted with The Newland Seekers at our joint 70th birthday party at the Bishops Palace in Wells last Saturday. We are renowned for our parties so you had a tough act to follow but, despite Nev's slight sore throat, you created a great atmosphere and everyone thought the music was fantastic. It was especially good for me as you kindly allowed me to run through a couple of songs in advance of the party so I could re-live my youth as an aged rocker. This made it special for me and I’d like to thank you all for accommodating me in such a welcoming fashion. Well done and I have no hesitation in recommending you for similar events. "The Black Velvet Band Trio were extremely talented musicians who delivered a good range of Irish tunes to a very high standard. Overall they provided a great night’s entertainment, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to hold an Irish themed night. Unfortunately we were not allowed dancing due to Covid restrictions, once these are lifted the night would be even better."

"Palatine quartet were absolutely brilliant, they responded quickly to an inquiry we made, were happy to learn a new piece for my wife to walk down the aisle to, punctual and professional, our guests absolutely loved them! We had their music played from the service until we sat down for the meal and it was so nice to have in the background while everyone was milling around on the lawn! I would 100% recommend for your special day, amazing musicians that added a real touch of class to out big day! Thank you Rachel and everyone else ?"

"Dappa are simply amazing! They played at our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier with their performance. The mix of acoustic and electric sets provided the perfect backdrop throughout the day and night. Their repertoire is impressive, and the groups of song they play together kept the music flowing. Thank you for making our wedding a night to remember!"

"Caroline is an excellent and accomplished musician who never fails to entrance with her playing, and any concerts where she is included are not to be missed. The recent Coffee Concert we attended was an inspiration, and it was lovely to be close enough to appreciate the wonderful use of her instrument. She is so talented and her violin 'sings' for us. We enjoy her solo work and also her playing where she interacts with other musicians. Concert 2nd February 2018"

"THANK YOU to Lucy and the boys for making our wedding the most incredible day EVER. They kept my guests entertained for the cocktail hour and the whole evening, played our first dance BEAUTIFULLY and kept the night going. If anyone is considering them for their wedding DO IT you won't be disappointed!"
