Your warmth and humour with all our family and friends has repeatedly been commented upon also your voice! "We hired Count Down To Swing for our summer wedding, and couldn't have been happier with them. They are super efficient and easy to communicate with, making the whole process of booking them really straightforward and stress-free. The band itself is just brilliant: all our guests said so and the dance floor was full throughout their set. They really made the event. Down for the Count are so friendly, accommodating, talented and professional that we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone! "

"The band gave a great performance at the RAF Christmas Party. The arrangements for the band all went very smoothly, and the show on the night was first rate - the band even agreed to perform an additional set at short notice. They were virtually held hostage by the crowd until the end of their third encore! I’d have absolutely no hesitation in booking them again."

"The band were superb - especially given the massive delay before you were able to perform, and the fact that we forgot to bring the interval playlist(s)! Our guests were extremely complimentary and said they really enjoyed the band and the dancing. So thank you - and thank you for making it all so easy for us too. I hope that we get to see you perform again in the not too distant future."

"Dearest Sarah- Jane and the boys Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone has been talking about it. Honestly, it was so hot but was perfect because it turned the room into a ‘Speakeasy’. It was brilliant and people were chatting away and just having the best time. Apart from my little nieces who loved dancing with you all. It really was the best day and I hope you all got back safely and had a great time. Thank you."

"Think prohibition, speakeasy , stripped back raw blues , soul searching sadness counter balanced with hope and optimism. Ma Bessie and her Blues Troupe exceeded all expectations with a great narrative and music show at Bridgwater Art Center . Close your eyes and listen to Julia Titus a powerful voice packed with emotion and expression and you were back in the 1920's and 1930's. From performing in tents, speakeasies to Vaudeville to becoming the blues singer of the era . Bessie Smith was a legend . Ma Bessie and the Blues Troupe supported by The Rag and Moan Men are not to be missed!!"
