"We were lucky enough to see this wonderful band on the 27th March 2008. A combination of brilliant musicians and stunning arrangements left us wanting more at the end of a magical evening."

"Hi Will, We will send a proper thank you when we get back from honeymoon, but we didn’t want to leave it too long to say a quick thank you to you and all the band for Saturday. You guys were fantastic and we really had the best time dancing! Harry said the pre-ceremony music was fab (wish I could have heard it!), our first dance was perfect, and we also loved the surprise rapping from the saxophonist! Hopefully the fact the dance floor was full all evening says it all! If it’s ok, would you mind sending me your address when you can? Would it also be ok if we have a copy of the set list you used on the evening? Have a good weekend! Elle and Harry x "

We have been coming to your gigs over many years now and have seen you all develop into a really great band and were so pleased that we were able to enjoy and share your talent with our friends and family. "We could not be happier with Phil and his AMAZING big band. Right from the very outset things started well as he was very friendly in our conversations and happy to accommodate requests based on our tastes, as well as make his own suggestions (which we of course trusted given his experience!) When it came to the day itself the band were efficient at setting up and getting ready. Finally, the performance... WOW! 80% of the people invited to our wedding were professional musicians and the amount of positive comments was overwhelming. The band played lots of our favourites to keep us happy (including an amazing performance of In the Mood at end the evening), as well as plenty of classics to keep everyone on the dance floor (which, incidentally, was absolutely packed for the whole evening, which is something I've never witnessed before at a wedding, so that in itself is a testament to just how good and entertaining this band is). They even played a few strict tempo numbers which made our ballroom dancing friends very happy indeed. All in all the band and the vocalists were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend them higher. They made our wedding all the more special and unique and we cannot thank them enough. Need a big band? Look no further! Phil's your man!!"

"We would like to thank the James Bond Orchestra for having made our wedding so special. Absolutely everybody commented on how great the bands were and that you were the best bands they had ever heard. Alex and I could not stop smiling from the moment you started to play and I had goose-bumps all over my body. It was just such a great night and thank you again. Alex is waiting to hear about a possible date for his company dinner dance. Rest assured when this date is known we will contact you.

In the mean time we hope to see you in the Jazz Cafe which is our local venue and we believe you already played there in the past. Thank you so much!!!"

We could not get over how good you sounded, and the amount of people who commented on the band I know everyone felt the same. I loved how involved with us the singer was, and also we thought the band were so lovely and accommodating. We were thrilled we booked you!!! I’m so glad you were looked after, as honestly you really did make the night for us!! Also on a side note but all the ladies thought you were all very good looking haha!! Also a lot of people said they would think of booking you, as you were so good! Thank you again for making our night so special!! Couldn’t have wished for it to be better, and I’ve dreamed of that since I was little – fantastic!!"

"Now that we're back from honeymoon and getting into the swing of things again, we thought it was time to sart thanking the many people who helped to make our day - and evening - so special. You and the band were amazing! Such a fantastic sound and a wonderful set - including the horn section on "All You Need Is Love" - made for a night we'll all remember for the rest of our lives. Our guests and Jamie at Micklefield Hall have all commented on what a fantastic band Count Down To Swing are. "Dearest Sarah- Jane and the boys Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone has been talking about it. Honestly, it was so hot but was perfect because it turned the room into a ‘Speakeasy’. It was brilliant and people were chatting away and just having the best time. "The band were absolutely amazing, we could not have hoped for them to be as good as they were! The first dance song was perfect and they even learned one of our favorite songs for our 'second dance'. Everyone was great, but the lead singers were especially brilliant, their voices were stunning. Highly recommended."
