"We had Sean for our wedding earlier this year at Mytton Fold. He was great all the way thru the planning process with several meetings and even singing some songs at the meetings to get what we wanted. On the day, he was amazing with his singing with a perfect mix of old classics and modern-day songs. He sang everything we asked for and more. He even managed to get me up for a dance so must have been good!!! The DJ section of the night was also very good, with a very good mix of songs and music to get everyone up on the dance floor. He was very professional with the wedding speeches and managed to keep a good flow throughout the night. We would whole heartedly recommend him to any family and friends who need a singer/DJ. Thanks again Sean."

"Hi Will, Now that we are back from Honeymoon, we really wanted to send you an email, just to say a big thank you to you and the band for being such an enjoyable and big part of our wedding day. We loved the music, it was exactly what we were looking for and have had great feedback from other guests. During the party there was a nice mix of songs to suit all ages that you get at a wedding. The quality of the music was excellent throughout (well except for those drunk idiots destroying Delilah at the end) and most of all it helped to create the good fun atmosphere that we were looking for. A special mention also for the first dance......we have not seen the video of it yet, but I remember thinking in the moment how wonderful it sounded and how good it was to have a quality live band playing for the first dance! A special mention to you for the wonderful Piano on this and of course to the female singer (sorry we did not get her name) who was delightful. We also wanted to mention your solo spot during dinner. Again, a great selection of songs that helped to support the ambience of the occasion and what else can I say, but just top quality. Thanks also for letting us use your mics for the speeches....sorry they overran so much. So in summary, it is just a massive thank you to you and your band, we are delighted that we had you all performing at the wedding......its amazing what you can find on a night out in Bristol!! :) "

"Hi Will, I have been meaning to do this for ages, but honeymoon, moving house and Christmas have all been crazy. Jen and I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance at our wedding a couple of months ago. You guys were absolutely fantastic, and one of only two things that every single person I have spoken to since the wedding has commented favourably upon (the other being the bride!). Neither of us are dancers, so we were always going to do a lot more sitting than dancing, but I know our friends and family (including even my parents!) had an awesome time on the dancefloor. Is there anything we can do to help you guys? Anywhere we can leave a positive review or provide a quote for you to use in your advertising? Your set was immense and went down a storm with everyone! "Motown Memories was absolutely amazing. I knew they would be good from the videos, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone has been talking about how good they were ever since. Unbelievable talent aside (I truly mean it- unbelievable!) They were just wicked to deal with from start to finish, true professionals but totally personable and everything you could want! Ione is a dream vocalist, and the guys are fab. Top-tier music selections and medleys. The DJ set/request hour was wicked too and music in between. They vibed off the crowd and the crowd, them! If you are reading this ... Take it as a sign to book them! You won't regret it. 10/10 impressive, I couldn't have asked for more. We love you guys! Xx"

"Hi Chris, I wanted to say a huge thank you to The MB Band for performing at our wedding. You were absolutely incredible and had everyone dancing from start to finish! We received so many compliments from our guests throughout the evening. People kept telling us that even when they were exhausted, they couldn't stop dancing because every single song was a hit. I spent half the night secretly wishing I could escape my hosting duties just to get back out there dancing! Thank you also for being so flexible when our timeline shifted and for doing such a great job getting everyone organized. You were fantastic! We honestly couldn't have asked for a better band. "We were absolutely delighted to have booked the MB's to play at our wedding reception. The standard was exceptional and the band had provided an extensive repertoire from which we were able to highlight our favoured songs. The band also had recordings of some numbers on sound cloud so that we could learn a first dance to the exact arrangement that they were to play on the night. It couldn’t have been easier – in the end we chose to charleston to “I want to be like you” which was fun and went down extremely well. I liaised with Chris mainly via email, but chatted on the phone nearer to the day so that arrangements could be finalised, nothing was too much trouble and the band was a real highlight. The keyboard player was booked earlier to play the piano during the meal and their set up was efficient. The band had travelled from Yorkshire to London to play and they might be making the journey down the A1 more frequently as several guests at the wedding have been asking for their contact details, and all thank you letters have commented on their stunning performance, the dance floor was filled all night."

"Hi Will, We will send a proper thank you when we get back from honeymoon, but we didn’t want to leave it too long to say a quick thank you to you and all the band for Saturday. You guys were fantastic and we really had the best time dancing! Harry said the pre-ceremony music was fab (wish I could have heard it!), our first dance was perfect, and we also loved the surprise rapping from the saxophonist! Hopefully the fact the dance floor was full all evening says it all! If it’s ok, would you mind sending me your address when you can? Would it also be ok if we have a copy of the set list you used on the evening? Have a good weekend! Elle and Harry x "
