Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Myself and my daughter selected Andy from various videos. We were looking for someone who could entertain ALL of our guests (we had a 200 strong guest list from 9 - 90 years old) and he seemed to have a cross generational appeal which we both liked. I must say, we are absolutely delighted with our choice! Andy made the whole process so easy for us. He is so easy to deal with and organised all of the lighting and sound equipment required, and DJ'd the party as well! His swing act is absolutely top notch - very polished and professional but with a touch of mischievous spontaneity which makes it obvious that he has studied the Masters of the genre, and is also a fan. A stunning voice and a superb rapport with his audience, Andy had the entire crowd in the palm of his hand. It was a delight to witness. As for the guest of honour (a life long swing fan), all that hubby could say was 'outstanding!' High praise indeed from a man of few words. If you are considering a swing act, I have no reservation in recommending Andy Ax. "

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you for being our wedding band! Everyone, and I mean everyone has commented on how amazing you were and how much of a good time they had dancing! Your band created such a fun atmosphere and it was great to see the dancefloor packed all night! Even family members who typically 'never dance' were up dancing! Even a month after the wedding people are still commenting on how good you were and how much they enjoyed the wedding! So thank you all very much for making it such a special night! We were both really impressed at how professional and organised you were, and were were really pleased to hear that the hotel have asked you to be their house band! "The Kix were without doubt the best band we have had perform at Llanarch Vineyard, And I immediately booked them for our upcoming New Years Eve event. I was utterly impressed with them, and from a venue point of view, they were a pleasure to deal with. I will most certainly be making strong recommendations also to our future wedding clients."

"We thought Relative Cool were absolutely brilliant when they played at our wedding. The vocalist was fabulous! The 3 sets filled the whole evening and definitely had everyone up dancing. I also really appreciated little things like the singer chatting with one of the kids while they had a break between sets. They were thoroughly professional throughout. We spoke to Tom before the evening and he was always really responsive with messages. We would definitely recommend them and thank you very much for making it a great evening!"

"Just want to say a huge thank-you to The Stereobeats for helping us make our day perfect. This band truly are amazing and we're so glad they could be there to blow us all away with a fantastic performance on the night. We were all so exhausted after all the preparation and having an ill 10 month old on our big day but we hope the band know that we were definitely with them in spirit, if not physically so much. "We booked Andy and Chris to take care of our wedding entertainment on recommendation (and after seeing their Blues Brothers show). We had them do their Singing Waiters at the meal (which was hilarious and set everyone up for what was to follow!), and the 80s show and 80s disco in the evening. We wanted an 80s theme to our wedding and the music and entertainment was perfect - transported us all back to the 80s and our guests were very impressed! Highly recommended - a one stop 80s shop! Thanks boys - brilliant. "

"We were lucky to have Art Gecko play at our recent work social club event, and they were amazing! Their performance was engaging and perfectly tailored to the crowd. They played a good variety of songs, covering classic hits to some modern pop favorites, ensuring there was a bit of something for everyone. They had people dancing, singing, and genuinely enjoying themselves. It’s clear they love what they do, and their talent and professionalism shone through. A massive thank you for making the night a lively one. We’d happily have them back anytime!"
