"Shimmer Strings were soooo good! We used them for our songs during the ceremony and then they played for a few hours during cocktails. They play a mix of classical and modern music which everyone loved. They brought such an incredible atmosphere to the day. I truly & highly recommend!!"

"May I just start by saying thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day truly magical. I could hear you playing whilst I was waiting to enter the room all the songs I had requested, my walk in music was everything I had hoped for and the wonderful world you played whilst I signed the register still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The guests loved you playing up beat numbers like queen during our afternoon tea (I think you could tell by all the singing going on) and then to carry on with an encore at the end was just brilliant ! I will make sure to recommend you to anybody I know getting married or having a special occasion. We hope to cross paths with you all again one day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!"

"Jude and Vicki were amazing from our first interaction with them! From taking the time to speak with us to curate a playlist, taking time to learn new pieces for our wedding and just being so pleasant to speak with! On the day they played so beautifully, and truly made our ceremony and drinks reception so special! The day was better than we could have ever imagined, and Jude and Vicki were such a huge part of that! "I booked Martin and Natalie as a string duet for my wedding almost 18 months in advance and throughout the whole planning process and the day itself they were so professional, accommodating and talented. Martin and Natalie learned my partner and I's requested wedding ceremony songs, and worked on a bespoke arrangement for the music I walked up the aisle too. They did it all with enthusiasm and nothing was too much trouble. On the day, their music was the perfect soundtrack to our wedding, and lots of our guests have told me how much they enjoyed listening. Martin and Natalie were also generally a pleasure to spend time with - they were so warm and made time to talk to me, my partner and members of the wedding party. I'm so glad they were part of our day and can't recommend them highly enough."

"Thank you for playing (pun unintended) such a huge part in making the perfect day. You missed your special mention during the speeches as you were preparing for our first dance, but both my husband and dad mentioned how great you were and you got a round of applause. So many people have commented on how amazing the band was, I am especially grateful that you played the song requested by my father-in-law. It meant a lot to him. I will certainly recommend you to anyone and would never hire anyone else if in need of a String Quartet again."
