"We booked Stephen and Milka for our recent wedding and we were glad we did. Right through from the planning stages to the wedding itself, they were a pleasure to be involved with. They were easy to talk to and friendly both towards ourselves and our guests. We had many compliments from our guests and they certainly created the atmosphere that we envisaged. They were very accommodating with our requests, both for the ceremony itself and for the drinks reception . They are both very talented and performed the music to perfection. If you are planning a wedding or event I would highly recommend Fresh Duo."

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your help with our wedding on 27th June at Lake Vyrnwy. It went really well. We had a lot of compliments about the string quartet! We were slightly worried beforehand as we hadn't met the DJ or the string quartet or the ceilidh band before and so we were not familiar with their work, but we were really pleased we had hired them all. They all did a fantastic job and new exactly how to please our crowd. Many guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we believe it was largely down to the great entertainment. Please pass on our gratitude to all the performers. Looking forward to hiring you again at any future events as well as recommending you to others! Once again, thanks for all your hard work! "I always envisaged having a harpist play at my wedding, but I never quite imagined her to be like Sophie and I mean that it the nicest possible way. She is such a lovely talented lady, very elegant yet extremely down to earth at the same time. I really cannot stress what a difference she made to our day. To hear her playing when I first walked in was such a wonderful feeling, so enchanting, truly breathtaking. She plays so beautifully and effortlessly, I honestly could listen to her all day. One of the things I liked most about Sophie was that from the minute I picked up the phone to her I knew straight away she was the one that I wanted to play at my wedding, I was sold on her personality alone, she is instantly likeable, I felt as though I was picking the phone up to a friend and we chatted for ages and had such a laugh. She was so helpful and I needn't have worried about a thing, she can literally play whatever you want and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for adding that extra special touch to our day, it was an absolute pleasure to have met and you will always be part of our special memories and I thank you for that. "

"These guys are ace! DDB recently performed at our wedding, after extensive research into wedding bands we finally chose deep down brass. To say that we were pleased is an understatement. The guys were very helpful and it was obvious they cared! Great musicians and and we had many many compliments throughout the day! Will be booking again for our anniversary party! "

" I want to say a huge thanks to everyone in the orchestra, and particularly to you for being so supportive and sharing your experience and expertise on what has felt like a huge personal journey for me with Gerontius. The most difficult thing about delivering the piece is in managing the demands Elgar makes whilst always being present in the moment and understanding the purpose. It is a truly unique piece of music and I could not have wished for a more wonderful and confident group of players. They brought fierce resilience, skill, kindness and understanding, and a huge range of expression making anything possible. Best of all, it felt like we were all working as one team.  "
