"Just a wee message to say THANK YOU again for how AMAZING you all are. We had the best time and cannot thank you enough for playing at our wedding! Our guests were not off the dance floor the whole night! I knew I wanted you as my band when I seen you in 2015 🙌💕 you absolutely nailed it with the playlist and banging tunes! I need a week to let my feet recover from all the dancing 🤣. "

"Hired the locals for my 30th birthday party and couldn't be happier with them. I picked them as they have a great play list and were reasonably priced, however the locals went above and beyond and made the night. They were so attentive to my wishes and so accommodating. The play list was so good it was hard to pick only 30 songs, and the band brought everything with them including lighting. I would definitely recommend them and would love to hire them again in the future "

" I booked The Verve jazz duo for my garden party to celebrate my birthday on the 15th of July 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. It was a huge success and we still talk about it to this day. The guys were really professional and friendly but, most importantly, played some wonderful and passionate jazz which made the day very special. Everybody loved it and the guys created the perfect ambiance for the event. The piano and double bass was a surprisingly full sound and the level of musicianship was absolutely top notch throughout. "Thanks for a wonderful show. We and the residents of Deepdene including my father greatly enjoyed her beautiful voice and great choice of songs. She had a lovely way with the residents showing humour as she sang despite a squawking budgie and a constant wandering audience."

"We booked The RockPins for our company party of 500 people. We were looking for a band who could play the right kind of songs to get people dancing and play those songs well. The band didn’t let us down, they were brilliant! The biggest compliment I can give is the dance floor was still packed when they finally finished their last song. They are a very professional band who can inject energy and fun into a party and come highly recommended. "

"Absolute band played at our civil partnership party and really brought a lively atmosphere! We all enjoyed the mix of traditional Irish tunes and classic hits, and they played songs to get people up and dancing. Particularly special was they learned specific songs for me to sing with them (as a surprise for my partner), and helped me with the singing which was much appreciated. "I just cannot rate these guys enough. They can really give you value for your money, and provide an excellent night. Our wedding was the third time we heard these guys play, and they stepped up their game even more. The hotel specifically mentioned how impressed they were by the quality of the band and so many guests have come back saying how great you were.The pre-information gives you plenty of options of lineup and allows you to tailor your song choice - the range of genres these guys can do is very impressive. They also know how to take a song list and use it to work the audience. That day was the best day of my life, and you guys played an important part of that. If you book these guys, you will not be disappointed!"

"We had the Big Smoke Brass come and play at our wedding in Cornwall and I cannot recommend them highly enough! They learnt our first dance song specifically for our wedding and it was amazing to have the band play such a special song to us. We had so many wedding guests come up to us and say how awesome they thought the band were and they definitely got the party started! I would book them again without hesitation! Huge thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding one to remember! :D"

"Joel & Ben provided the entertainment at my 50th birthday party, which was a black tie event in a boutique hotel. The boys arrived early, were well prepared and were setup in no time. As well as being talented & skilled musicians, they read the crowd well and were truly fantastic. Both on the night and in the days following, everyone was raving about Joel & Ben. I unreservedly recommend them"
