"The booking process was really easy, and LMM were really responsive to my questions. The performer himself (Countryman Sam) was incredible - we were blown away by his talent! He performed two songs we requested and they were perfect, and his song choices for the cocktail hour were great. He was also such a nice guy - cannot recommend him enough! (10 / 10)"

"We welcomed back Black Velvet Band Irish Trio for St Patrick's Day. They were amazing and really created a great atmosphere for the afternoon with all of our customers singing and joining in. If you want that authentic Irish sound I would definitely recommend this band and will definitely be having them back again! "

They kept my guests entertained for the cocktail hour and the whole evening, played our first dance BEAUTIFULLY and kept the night going. "We are so grateful to Black Velvet Ceilidh Band for their last minute flexibility in playing for our wedding! We moved the wedding forward by a month to beat the lockdown and the band not only made themselves available on the new date, but also changed the style of music with just 3 days notice! Firstly their contactability and organisation was brilliant, making the booking and discussions with them hassle-free. Ceilidh would no longer have been appropriate, so the guys played a mix of Irish songs and jigs and reels. The music they provided was fantastic, creating the most beautiful atmosphere for the milling around and photo time between ceremony and reception. They were inconspicuous but added so much. Would definitely recommend them (and their versatility!) for any event.’"

"The band were excellent lots of my friends commented how much they enjoyed them. They were very flexible and played two additional sets that helped create an atmosphere that my friends did not want to leave. The band had everyone dancing from the first song to the last one four hours later."

"Recently I heard Jack play acoustic guitar on Carnival’s Legend ship. A musician myself, I thoroughly enjoyed his genuineness and natural talent! What a delightful young man. We chatted a few times throughout the week and he was so kind to play some James Taylor favorites for me. Made me so happy! I am sure we will be hearing that name again. "I wanted a Blues Tribute Band for my 50th birthday celebrations and my party theme was always going to be a Toga party. The film “Animal House” made a lasting impression at a young age. I searched online and found the group “106 miles to Chicago”, viewed the home page, read the reviews; I liked what I had seen and I decided to mail Andy. The whole experience has been totally flawless; any questions I had were answered within 24 hours by email and we did not verbally communicate or meet until the party. The guys turned up on set, on time, fixed up, dressed up and gave it their all from start to finish. Every party guest wanted to know who they were, where they were from and whether they were available in the future. Andy, Chris, the Sax players and the crew were fantastic and they made a memorable evening; everyone loved it and the event could not have gone better, I was totally thrilled. Can’t wait until my 60th……"
