"Just a quick note to thank you to you and the band for all your work towards Saturday evening at Chawton Ball. You were prompt and flexible, particularly when our start timings shifted a bit! As I mentioned, there was quite a bit at stake and usual high expectations from the band – and you definitely pulled it off: the dance floor was fit to burst and everyone begged for more! Thanks for creating a playlist for us, too and patiently dealing with the quirks of working with volunteers. Overall the evening was a success (and that’s a huge relief!)."

"This is the 3rd year we have had the Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band play for our event. They really add to the event in terms of the atmosphere, structure and fun they bring. We were sold out of tickets in the lead up to the event as people eagerly anticipated our annual ceilidh. The band are professional and talented. They brought some great dances which we had not seen before and some old favourites. We are already talking about next year's event with them!"

"Thanks so much for playing at our wedding on Saturday. The band were so easy to communicate with in the run up, packed the playlist with songs we loved and were great fun on the night. Their set was in an orangery during a heatwave so a pretty hot room. Despite most of the guests dancing outside due to the heat they still created a great vibe. Particular thanks for doing a fantastic rendition for our first dance!"

"I can't recommend this band enough. Whether they are playing background music during dinner or playing some more upbeat music to get people dancing a little later on, they always do a great job. Extremely punctual and make our lives as easy as possible, we know once they are committed to the event that we can rely on them to turn up and sort themselves out. Looking forward to having them back!"

From the day we met you have been so inspiring to me and that is what gave me the strength to make the night perfect. The ambience that was in the air due to the music was amazing. I know I did the ground work for the party but it was you guys who made my dream come true. Thank you so much! Also please say thanks to your singer again who danced with my sister in law, it meant alot to me. "Had these guys play at our wedding last week. Best choice we ever made!! We had to change the date with them 4 times amd it was never a problem. Communication from the start was first class! We asked for our first dance to be played live and although it wasn't in their repertoire they learnt it for us and we were blown away with the result! Already looking at booking them for a follow up party when restrictions are lifted! If you are reading this book them now! I promise you wont regret it! "

"Matt was absolutely amazing! He kept us in the loop via messaging asking what time we would like him to arrive and if we had any additional requests. This was so reassuring! Matt arrived on time, made a huge effort to liaise with us and our guests and his appearance was so smart. His vocals were out of this world! Matt made our dad’s 70th party! Thank you so much XxXx"
