"Having booked these guys watching their videos online due to COVID they exceeded all my expectations and were truly outstanding - their videos don’t do them justice to how good they are live! We enjoyed them so much we paid them to stay on as we didn’t want them to leave! Having spent many years watching small bands in pubs I can honestly say they are up there with the best I’ve seen. If your looking for a small band to fill any room and interact brilliantly with the crowd these are the guys. Genuinely really nice guys with a huge passion and brilliant to work with. If I don’t see you before see you at the 70th in 10 years!!"

"So glad we booked Motion Picture for our wedding. The whole process from booking to the performance was excellent and communication with Dan the singer was a pleasure. They really are talented musicians with a great selection of songs - they certainly filled the dance floor! We had lots of positive comments from guests. "I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance on Saturday night. We had an amazing day and you guys and your DJ just topped it off perfectly. I think you could probably see that you smashed it and the dance floor was literally bouncing all night LOL! All our guests said that they had the best evening and you were by far the best band we have all ever heard at a wedding. One of the guests has already referred you to their son who is also getting married at Nanteos Mansions later in the year. We are so pleased with the day so thank you so much and hope you enjoyed playing as well!"

"We had a fantastic time with the Blue Jewel Ceilidh band, brilliant music. We all had such fun, everyone could join in as nothing was too complicated. The caller was very good and hit the right note, very professional and special thanks to them all for making every effort to get to the venue after the snow drifts and icy roads caused major problems for many. It helped to make our daughter’s Wedding a very special day. "

"I had the good fortune of seeing Alter Ego play, five years or so ago, at a friends joint 40 birthday party & appreciated their style of covers. Since then, because of their style, harmonies, varied genres & excellent professional musicality, I have been to as many gigs as I could make & hired them for my 60th birthday party a couple of years ago where they entertained my guests of all ages. They are a great band who should be heard if you want a real treat."

"We booked these guys through the Son of my now wife for the evening of our wedding. Our only mistake was not booking them for longer on the evening. We should have had them all night. We had Unwritten Duo band. The vocals were awesome and capped a fantastic evening. A mixture of great soulful classics and some slightly more obscure tracks. I’d definitely travel to see these guys and the more intimate the venue the better. They could play big venues but are better in a small place where sing to you not at you. Fantastic set guys and thank you. Xx"

"A wonderful night, some important guests, an impressive location, but it was John’s music to deliver the true magic touch. John and his band played for us a great collection of Jazz music giving an extra flavour to an already special evening. A perfect harmony of notes, a well balanced band and a very elegant style. I would strongly recommend John and his team and I will be looking forward to working with him in the near future. "

"The Yorkshire Oompha Band performed at Llangollen Railways first ever Oktoberfest in September of 2017. The band were fantastic they put on a fabulous show and everyone was totally engrossed in the games and music. "Liz played with her guitarist for our drinks reception at Northorpe Hall. What a lovely atmosphere it set for everyone there. The songs were perfect and the sound in the barn was great. Liz really did go out of her way to make sure everything was perfect for us and we would have happily paid more than we did looking back. We had seen the full band and wanted to book them for the evening reception but they we're not available, gutted! Reviews go a long way these days and Liz deserves nothing but a glowing one as I could not fault anything at all. Such nice people to have as a part of the day. Highly recommended thank you to The Marvellous Motown Souls!"
